Tellers from HELL
Stay AWAY from this branch and this bank! They have Tellers from HELL. No WONER this brand will be closing soon! I went to deposit a $3000 cashiers check I received from selling some things online. I hardly ever have to go into the branch because I do all my banking online. I went to this branch and was greeted by this teller. She was the overweight brown haired teller. I gave her the check and she began staring at the check for literally 15 minutes making heavy breathing noises and making weird faces at me, telling me she doesnt think its real and that it looks like its been cashed before. I told her over and over that Ive done business with this person who gave me the check before, and that I have been a customer for years, and work for the school system. She made me feel so bad about it, I told her to hold off from depositing it so I could call the bank it was drawn on. I had to personally call the bank it was drawn on and was told it was fine. The following day, I went back to depsit the check. I went to the olde blonde haired teller who had absolutely no idea what she was doing. She had to have the brown haired teller come show her what to do. She told me if could have up to a 7 day hold which was fine since I didnt need the money for about 9 days. I deposited the check, and a few days later, I noticed the check was available in my account. I called my bank's 800 number and was told it cleared and I can withdrawl it. I went to withdrawl some money, and the overweight brown haired girl and her blonde haired companian with a attitude told me they called the bank and said it was already cashed, and I couldnt withdrawl the funds. I told her I just got off the phone with their 800 number and they told me it was available.. They told they would not let me make a withdrawal. I left VERY frustrated. I called the other bank AGAIN and was told the check was in fact NOT cashed and that it was fine. I called the bank back and spoke to the teller. At this point I was angry. I told her the check was fine and that she needs to call the bank and speak to pam, who I just spoke to. She rudely asks me to give her the number and she would call me back. Well a few hours go by and no phonecall. I called back and spoke to the branch manager who told me she spoke to the tellers, and they are waiting for a fax confirmation and it should be available my Tuesday morning. This isn't even the END yet. So later in the day, I went to CVS to make a purchase using my debit card and it was DECLINED! At this point I was hot. I went outside to my car to call the bank back. The tellers told me that they locked my WHOLE account. I demanded them to tell me why, and they said it was for preventative measures form earlier in the day when they said the check was bad. What was strange, was I used the card before I went to the bank earlier, and it worked fine. I demanded them to unlock my account to I have access to the funds that I have. This is an abosolute MESS. The tellers are rude and treat you like youre a criminal. no WONDER this branch is closing! Hopefully the tellers wont be located somewhere else because I want NOTHING to do with them! If you absolutely HAVE to use this branch, talk to the branch manager. The tellers are no help at ALL.
