With this letter, I would like to bring to your kind notice that, recently I have purchased Wagon – R – Duo from your authorised dealer M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai. The vehicle was booked for “Dhanteras of this Diwali”. At that time, Maruti has launched the scheme with Bonanza offer “Scratch & Win”.
Now at the time of delivery of vehicle, the treatment I got from your dealer, I felt cheated by your dealer. Hence I am communicating this to your good self as it ultimately affect the credential earned by Maruti. The details of transactions made through dealer as appended below in chronological order –
1. When I enquired to buy a Wagon R from said dealer, M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai, I was asked to deposit Rs. 10, 000 advance (Accordingly I deposited advance, Receipt No. 13289, Dt. 19.09.2009) and assured that the vehicle will be delivered within 30 days with scheme available. But the vehicle was not delivered to me in time.
2. When I contacted them, M/s Ganapati Motors again asked me to deposit 100 % amount in advance and requested me to opt another colour, with a commitment that, vehicle will be delivered on Dhanteras / Diwali and the scheme launched by the company will be passed on to me. Accordingly I deposited balance amount of Rs. 3, 92, 750, vide receipt no. 13853, Dt. 07.10.2009. Copy of receipt and commitment checklist is attached herewith for your kind perusal.
Your dealer M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai failed to meet the commitment and did not deliver the vehicle on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras / Diwali or even in Tulsi Ekadasi.
On 14th Nov, Saturday, M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai communicated me that, vehicle has arrived. Accordingly I visited to dealer on 16th to take delivery of vehicle. At the time of delivery, dealer refused to pass on scratch & Win offer under promotional scheme to me. Then undersigned showed the papers in which dealer committed to pass on the scheme and I asked him to return the full payment of the vehicle. Then only dealer allowed me to use scratch & Win offer. But at the same time my coupon was not considered for Bumper draw and the same was thrown in the Dust-Bin, Thus I am deprived by your dealer from the scheme launched by the company and I felt that I am cheated by Maruti Udyog.
I request your honour to please look in to the matter and reply within 10 days, otherwise I will be forced to lodge a complaint in the Distt. Consumer Forum.
