I recieved a refund check this month from Wal-Green's, who said they had overcharged me. That was OK. I thought I'd use the check on my next co-pay for my prescriptions I needed today. Imagine my surprise when the local Wal-Green's would NOT take their own company's check!! This check came from their home office, and it was ONLY for $2.10, but the check was run, as all checks are, through a computer check survice to see if the check was good. CAN YOU IMAGINE WAL-GREEN'S CHECK BOUNCING? They are NOT HONORABLE if they will do THAT! They make SURE YOUR check is good, but THEIRS is a different story! I have to have 8-10 prescriptions filled there every month. If they are THAT INSOLVENT, I'm NOT WAITING! I'M TRANSFERRING MY PRESCRIPTIONS to Wal Mart or somewhere ELSE! They are rather expensive prescriptions anyway, and Wal-Mart IS much cheaper! But TAKE HEED! Do YOU WANT YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED BY A NATIONAL COMPANY WHO'S CHECK for $2.10 BOUNCES??? Just HOW LONG do you suppose they KEEP AND SELL OUT-DATED DRUGS??? If they will BOUNCE A CHECK FOR ONLY $2.10, then they MUST BE HURTING, so it STANDS TO REASON, that THEY WILL SELL OUT OF DATE DRUGS RATHER THAN GET RID OF THEM. THAT IS NOT SAFE!!! EVERYONE WHO USES WAL-GREEN'S SHOULD RE-THINK THAT AS I HAVE!!
