Saturday, September 25, 2010, I had a prescription (Glipizide ER XL 5mg TAB) filled at your pharmacy. However, I discovered that the Glipizide that I was given on Saturday was not the medicine I had been taking. Upon my discovery, I returned to the pharmacy with what I thought was the wrong medicine. At this time, I was told that the Glipizide that I was given on Saturday was the correct medicine. However, the Glipizide that I had been taking for 5 months was not the Glipizide that I was given on Saturday, September 25, 2010. For 5 months I was given the wrong medicine. Because the numbers corresponded, I was told that I had the correct medicine. This is not true. An error of this magnitude is inconceivable. A mistake as serious as this should not be overlooked. Mistakes like this should not happen. Also on Monday, September 27, 2010, I once again returned to the pharmacy to speak with the manager. Ms. Wollanso Boschulte was no help. Her attitude was as if this mistake did not happen. Ms. Boschulte acted as if I did not know what I was talking about. Ms. Boschulte told me that when I left the store that would be the end of the situation because I did not have any more of the pills remaining. But for 5 months I was taking a Glipizide that did not resemble the medicine I was given on Saturday. In all the years that I have had prescriptions filled, I have never been given the wrong medicine. This incident should be thoroughly investigated. This is just unforgivable. I can no longer trust Wal-Mart Pharmacy to safely fill my prescriptions.

Walmart pharmacy in romeoville illinois, the wait is always a minimum of an hour! I'm sitting here in massive pain and there's no one @ the register and they can't even fill my script. Ridiculous. Never again!

Has anyone had problems with a pharmacy clerk at the Walmart in Georgetown Tx.? I don't know her name, but she hispanic, short gray/white hair, about 5 feet tall, and darn right rude! I leave this pharmacy so upset and a couple of times in tears. This should not happen! It's a simple matter of picking up your pres. meds and thats it. But this woman has had it in for me ever since the first time I was there and she corrected me about the way I pronounce my last name. I told that the way I say it is the way I prefer to say it and she remembers me everytime and goes out of her way to belittle me about the way I say it. From that day it has gone down hill! Now I have to show proof to her that I have insurance, even tough it should be on record already. Each time I go, its a different amount for the same meds. She claims she has, as she says, "no control" as to how much it is, and I agree but she loves the fact that she has to send me to speak to the other person at another window to get corrected. and she loves that she gets to saY, OUT LOUD, "YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE". Of which, she's wrong, because I do. Why does Walmart keep this person on staff? I don't understand it!

Everytime I visit this pharmacy the cashiers/counter help are soddy, rude and appear to always be unhappy. I waited close to 1 1/2 hours on Friday to pick up prescripts for someone. 30+ minutes of that time was waiting for 2 clerks to wait on the same 2 customers for 30+ minutes. There is no excuse for laziness and it puts a bad reputation on the entire department. They maybe cheaper at Walmart but the service to obtain them basically SUCKS. If the personnel is that unhappy then maybe they should seek work elsewhere. Everyone in the dept needed a shot of B12 hourly to get them moving faster. One clerk always seems to have a cold/be sick - yet stil the same hoe-hum attitude - can anyone smile. Clerks out stocking, can you see people waiting for service, line down the store. New management team needs to be in charge of this dept. Somebody needs to be fired, and somebody with energy, enthusiam, and desire to achieve, give 110% daily needs to be hired to run this dept.

The employees at the Goose Creek, SC Wal-Mart Pharmacy are the most ridiculous people I have ever had to deal with. I went to the pharmacy on Friday evening to get my (controlled substance) prescription filled but the doctor had forgotten to date it, so needless to say, I was not able to have it filled and was told to take it back to the doctor’s office to get a date written on it. I work 60 hour weeks and so was not able to get back to the doctor’s office (30 miles from my house) until Tuesday, at which point I asked them to change the prescription a little (because the original was too expensive) and to be sure it was dated. I had my fiancé take the prescription to the pharmacy for me because I was not feeling well. He called to inform me that they would not fill the prescription because the date was written in a different handwriting than the medicine. What nonsense. I called the pharmacy, given I was agitated but who wouldn’t be, and spoke with the pharmacy manager. She told me that they had to call to have the prescription confirmed because of the difference in the handwriting, which means that I will have to take more time out of yet another day to go back to the store again to try to pick the prescription up. I asked her if it was unusual practice for a doctor to write a prescription and the nurse to then fill in the remaining pieces, she would not answer me. I asked for her name so that I could place a formal complaint, she refused to tell me anything except that her first name was Erin and that whoever I complained to would know who she is, how very presumptuous of her. I will never go to this pharmacy again, after tomorrow when I go to pick up my prescription after they confirm that the doctor’s office was the one to fill in the date on a totally new prescription and confirm that they wasted my time. I will be placing a formal complaint in person, on any online forum and I am hesitant to go to any other Wal-Mart pharmacy after this experience.
