VERY RUDE SERVICE
Ive had multiple problems with my Walmart Pharmacy. They never have our prescriptions ready even when called in days in advance. We wait and wait or come back numerous times before our medicines are ready. Lately we've had trouble getting our insurance straightened out, only with walmart. We had 2 policies and then lost one. We notified the pharmacy within days. We've talked to our insurance company over half a dozen times in the last 4 months. All walmart has to do is call their number and answer a couple questions when it pops up on their screen, (which is what they are supposed to do) and then it would all be taken care of. They wont do it!!! They're too busy and tell me to call them AGAIN! I told them today I've already spoken with them and he said it was denied due to termination, so I gave him the brand new card I just recieved, he tried it (so he says) and said it didnt work. Then said he "DIDNT HAVE TIME, HE WAS AN HOUR BEHIND, THEN TOLD ANOTHER LADY WHO WORKED THERE, IT WAS A 2 HOUR WAIT THEN LOOKED RIGHT AT ME AND SAID, ITS A 3 HOUR WAIT IF THEY COMPLAIN!!" He said he had the choice of ticking off 400 people or me, so it looked like it was my day. The girl checking people out looked mortified that he spoke to me that way. She apologized and I said it wasnt her place, she didnt owe me one. Last week I got much the same reaction from a female pharmacist who worked there, told me she didnt have time to make a phone call. She took the number and said she'd take care of it the next day. Well needless to say she didnt do her job either. I went home and called another local pharmacy and am in the process of having all of our business transferred. They are horrible. They've gotten too big to treat people like Sam Walton promised they would be treated. You're nothing but a number in their computer, IF they have time for you at all!

Poor service
Recently we transferred pur prescriptions to Wal Mart from Sam's Club. The first time we needed refills, the trouble began...two of mine needed to be authorized for refills by the Dr. I called the Dr.'s office myself to let them know to be expecting a request from a new pharmacy, Wall Mart in Belleville. When I went to pick them up two days later, they ( the pharmacy clerk) said they didn't have them. That the Dr. never called back. So, I dialed my Dr.'s office to inquire and was told that they had faxed the authorization the previous day.
The person at the counter proceeded to argue with me, that I was wrong. Of course, the fax was nowhere to be found. I had to request a second fax . at which time, lo' and behold, the first one magically appeared! Imagine that!
Unfortunatly, that did not solve the problem. Every time we need refills, we can't just call them in and expect to be able to pick them up
in a timely fashion.
The most recent ( today ) experience just broke my camels back! A week ago Monday, September 7, I called in 3 prescriptions, knowing two needed authorization from the Dr. on Thursday, the 10, I went to pick them up, and was told they only had one, as the Dr. hadn't returned their call. O.K., I figured, I could wait another day or two for them. One is Hydrlozine for High Blood Pressure, and the other is my anti-depressant. Well, today I went again to pick them up, and was told they did not have them. I said I know better, as I was at the Dr.'s office yesterday and asked her about it, she checked my chart and assured mr they had authorized the refills the 1st. of the week.
Now, I have been without my Blood pressure medicine and my anti-depressant for 10 days as of today. They didn't even offer to give me a couple to carry me over till we could get this worked out. Not that they care! Today I asked what was wrong with that pharmacy? I NEVER had this kind of problem at Sam's Club in O'Fallon, IL.!
The people at Wal Mart are really STUPID!

I waited the requisite 1/2 hour, returned to the Pharmacy, and was told I needed to wait at least another 1/2 hour. I returned after the "second" 1/2 hour, only to be rudely pushed aside by a man who decided he wanted to get ahead of me.
I said, "Excuse me, I was first". The Pharmacist, although he heard what I said, went right ahead and waited on the man who had sidled up ahead of me. I interrupted, saying, "I was first in line", and the Pharmacist ignored me.
After the so-called gentleman left, I asked the Pharmacist why he been so rude. He ignored my query and said "Date of Birth". I asked his again why he had ignored me, and he said "Last name".
Deafness I can tolerate. Rudeness I cannot. I am switching all of my prescriptions to another store and will eventually not be subjected to their nonsense.
I have in the past patiently waited over 2 hours for my prescriptions. Customers waiting with me have shared their horror stories of Hamburg, NYs McKinley Park store. They all have had their share of the Pharmacy staff''s rudeness and inefficiency.
I hope never to set foot in a Wal Mart again.

Pharmacy employees
I have disc degeneration disease and right now I have 2 ruptured discs and 1 that is bulging. It presses on the nerves that lead down through my legs. I'm only 25 and they treat me as if im there just to get drugs. They are very rude to me and have tried to keep me from obtaining my refills the day I can get it filled. The medicine is the only thing that helps me move around without feeling the stabbing, numb and burning pain I have in my leg. They dont have to live with the pain, I wish I could give it to them.
