slow service
At the Walgreen's pharmacy at 39th and SE Belmont, they have a window for dropping off prescriptions. Fine idea as the transactions only take 30 seconds or less. This window is invariably closed at this store, and who knows at how many others. So they direct me to the pickup line which has a long line so it will be 15-20 minute wait for me to toss in my 20 second drop off. There were three pharmacists at that drop off window and they just didn't care.
I have quit using Walgreen's twice; once when they gave my prescription to someone else and gave someone else's prescription to me. Once when the pharmacist was very snotty to me several times though I was polite.
And now this. I'm going down for the third time and I don't care if I have to walk the extra 6 blocks to Fred Meyer. At least they are fast and accurate.

Failure to take care of customer in the pharmacy ahead of others
I waited 45 minutes for the h1n1 vaccine while people who came in after me had prescriptions filled. I was the only one waiting when all this started. When I complained about the wait and the discourtesy, the pharmacist YELLED at me. I left, complained to the manager, and am now trying to complain to the home office. I will never set foot in any Walgreen's again. Wonder how she'll feel if I get swine flu and DIE because of her.

I have taken the same medication for two and one-half years. Almost every time I go to pick it up, the pharmacy is out of it. They don't call to say they don't have it. So this time I did not get any of the medication, and I asked why, since I take it every month they don't have it in stock. The clerk said I wasn't the only one that takes it. My doctor told me that it is a rare medication, and the clerk said that she works behind the desk, not me, and she should know not me. Now I have to go back, and I am not always well enough to go get it again.
1-I think the pharmacy should be well stocked.
2-The clerk was rude.
3-I have been going to that pharmacy for years and years.
4-No one else has ever been rude.

treated me like a criminal!
I am disabled and have suffered chronic pain for 11 years. I cannot sit nor stand without pain for longer than 15 minutes.
I was TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL by the manager of Walgreen's in Anthem, Jennifer Englehaupt.
When she saw the prescription and the doctor whom had written it, she started snickering to her co-worker. I asked her POLITELY how long it would take? She barked at me "SIT DOWN! I need authorization." I asked again and she barked again. She would not ANSWER my question. I just wanted to know HOW LONG as if it were longer than 15 minutes, I wanted to go home and have a friend pick up the RX.
I had no choice but to go outside and lie down on the bench. It's bad enough being in chronic pain without a pharmacist treating you like you're a drug-addict just because you are on pain medications. (And I HAD BEEN GETTING THE SAME DOSE AND MEDICATIONS FROM WALGREEN'S FOR 3 YEARS!!! I had just gone to a different branch this time!)
As every pain therapist and doctor has told me, anxiety causes pain levels to increase. Being treated as LESS THAN HUMAN because I am filling a prescription of pain medications is Insane. I wanted to tell Jennifer Englehaupt that I wish I didn't have to take the meds, but I'm waiting to get an appt. with yet another doctor, this time a neurosurgeon.
Of course, I wasn't allowed to do so. She wouldn't even look at me, except to glare and YELL, rather than answering a simple question. What IS HER problem???
I haven't had this problem with other Walgreen's. I want to file a complaint with Walgreen's stores, as I had intended to purchase a humidifier the same day but I certainly won't be giving them my business anymore.
This woman--who is the manager of the pharmacy--was HOSTILE, CRUEL and INSENSITIVE! No one even bothered to ask me if I had taken the other medication prior, which I have NOT.
I walked out feelnig like I was a criminal and life with chronic pain is bad enough.
Have some COMPASSION, JENNIFER ENGLEHAUPT and "friends"...
You are doing a DISSERVICE to WALGREEN'S!!!

Video
I allege that I was not given the proper change. The cashier is saying the video is showing her giving me two twenties instead of one for change. I though the lowest I had was a $50. I should have go9tten 40 dollars and some change. When I arrived at my residence I was $20 short. I went straight to my residence from Walgreen's. If the clerk dropped a 20 dollar on her side of the counter would the video pick up that fact? Also customers many including myself have dropped money without knowing it. Can the video pick that up? I have decided to drop Walgreen's as a pharmacy and I'm giving it a negative reference to everyone. Also don't use more than a $20 at Walgreen's. A $50 bill is too hard for them to make change.
