If you or someone you know has been the victim of Walker County (Alabama) Department of Human Resources Family Services' (Child Abuse/Neglect) habitual practices of:
~ making false claims ~ threatening and intimidating to obtain admissions for things you did not do
~ coercing and intimidating to obtain signatures under duress
~ aggressive, abusive, unprofessional demeanor ~ frequently changing stories/twisting your words
~ failure to conduct monthly Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meetings and allow you to invite whoever you want to the meetings
~ falsely representing that the employee or agency has more power and authority than it actually has
~ interfering with your child's or your medical treatment, failure to secure a service provider, providing substandard, unqualified service providers
~ violating your privacy/falsely claiming it has authority to violation your privacy
~ any other issues that violate Alabama Department of Human Resources policies, which are Alabama Administrative Code (law), found here: www.alabamaadministrativecode.state.al.us/docs/hres/
Per a federal lawsuit and court order, the Alabama DHR is supposed to be following these policies. If your caseworker or any other DHR staff, agency service providers, etc. are not going by these policies, and/or they are engaging in any of the abusive, inappropriate actions listed above, please notify this agency:
