I purchased a book for my husband for Christmas. He received two copies of the same book and I tried to return my copy yesterday [Jan 1 2010] at this WalMart store. After waiting on line for about 20 minutes, I was told at Customer Service that books cannot be returned after three days. He did not read the book, or even open it. I am disappointed. I never return items, but this is ridiculous. I checked the WalMart website for their return policy on books and it says "Books: Must be returned unused and unmarked." This policy does not match the Fuquay-Varina NC store! Beware! Not all stores follow the posted return policies!! Do NOT buy books at the WalMart store on Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina!! I now have a book I cannot use and out $20. They have just lost a customer. I'm sure they have plenty and do not care.
