Warranty Direct is a total rip-off. They failed to cover the expense that they approved when I brought my 04 Ford F-150 in to repair my rear differential. First my service manager called the claims dept. and talked with a Mr. Gonzalez who approved a total tear down of my differential. When completed the SM called again and talked to Joe Chee in claims. He said they wanted to send an inspector to ensure the rear end was not abused by me. After 3 days the SM called and asked when the inspector was coming in and Joe Chee said there would not be an inspector coming and that they want to send a used transfer case to them from Texas and I'm in Illinois. The SM asked what about the cost of the tear down and Joe Chee told him that he should have talked to him because he would never have approved the tear down. After waiting 2 weeks and calling the Claims Manager, Robert Padget, WD agreed to pau half of the tear down resulting in an additional $120 out of pocket.
