My husband has a CitiFinancial loan. Our daughter was recently diagnosis with a Brain Tumor. We were at the hospital for over 2 months and stayed current with them. When we came home I contacted Citifinancial. Which by the way is my old employer. I had to ask them for a deferment on my loan for this months payment. They did not offer any help in anyway other then "Where's the payment and when will it be here." They were very snippy. I told them that we are doing the best we can. I told them that I would do the deferment. They wanted me to send them a post dated check which I will not do. This is also illegal to do. I am under enough stress without having CitiFinancial climbing down my throat. They are rude and unprofessional. I wish anyone luck who takes a loan out with them. Do your research. There are other financial places that are willing to work with you for reasonable rates and more professional people. People who actually care about you and your family. We live in a small city and the customers that I have had for customers constantly stop me and say how bad the customer service is in the local branch. I hope if you take out a loan with them you have better luck then we have.
