no refund
I accessed Wavee.com online auction site. Believing it to be like ebay I decided to register. I was asked to complete my credit card information, which I understood would be used if OR when I decided to bid on something. I filled out the info and pressed enter on my laptop. Shortly after I received an email thanking me for my order? They charged my credit card $179 for 350 bid credits. I immediately emailed them, explaining that I was a senior living on just $1050 total income each month, and that I did not request any credits, but just registered with the site. I received a couple of answers, telling me that they are sure I will find lots of good things to buy. I have since accessed the site again and find that they offer several different amounts of credits to purchased and the $75 was the only one that was ALWAYS highlighted.

I honestly did not see that part of the registration (I have glaucoma). I do not wish to bid or buy anything on that site. I just want them to return my money. It will take me months to pay off for something I didn't even order in the first place. Please help.

Wavee.com's registration is misleading, they charged me $179 without even having a confirmation page. Here is how the conversation went to get the refund...it lasted nearly an hour...

You also agreed to the Terms and Conditions, which stated that credit purchases are non-refundable. Your bank will see both of these items very clearly and inform you that there is nothing they can do for you. However, as a courtesy, I am willing to remove the 30 credit charge from your account.

Me: I'm not interested in removing the 30 credit charge. I want the $179 refunded or I will charge back. Your terms are not clearly stated.

Me: All I did was register and you charged me $179 without a confirmation page.

Me: No, 50% is not what you people took out of my account without my concent

Me: If everything is "clearly stated", why am I not the only one that you people have done this to?

Me: Refund my $179 now please

Sharon: Most merchants state the price one time -- maybe two times. Wavee states their price 4 times. We are a responsible merchant. I will process your 50% refund and you will get the 350 credits for 50% off.

I got duped into signing up for Wavee.com which I now believe is a scam
I got duped into signing up for Wavee.com which I now believe is a scam.

I signed up at 632 AM. After spending 3 or 4 mins on the site and reviewing the news video clip that promoted the service, I decided to sign up. I filled out a form which asked for credit card information. There was no mention of a total and i expected to be taken to a confirmation page, but instead i was charged $179 dollars. On the thank-you page was a link to a chat service for billing. I started the chat. After a few mins of waiting, the chatter came on to say effectively–no refunds. She quickly sent me to a link that showed the supposed site I had just seen and agreed to…when clicking on the link it closed the chat session, so i began another. here is that second chat which lasted over 20 mins:
