credit card charges
Yesterday I got a phone call from Web Profit Coach, I was busy so it take a while for me to answer the phone. I heard a woman say they are not answering the phone. At the time I did not know who they were.
Today they called me again. (After they hung up on me. I checked my caller ID. I saw that it was the same person as yesterday)
After going over the service. I was told that I have 7 days to cancel, I was also told about a 75 dollar charge. Which was told to be very briefly and quickly. I had to ask them to stop and repeat the last thing they said. I told them that I did not want the service after they told me about the additional charge of 75.99. At that time I was connected with a manager and then they had the nerve to argue with me about me not wanting the service. I told them that I need more that 7 days to decide. And that 7 days was not enough. The manager continued to argue with me about not wanting the service. And that 7 days was enough time. I told them that it is my choice to decide if 7 days was enough time. they told me tht I was wrong and thaqt it was enough time. I told them that it is my money to do with what I want. I told them I did not want the service, this man argued with me for a total of 10 minutes. How can you tell me what to do with my money, this is so very rude. They then hung up on me.
As I write this, I am on the phone on hold with customer service, they keep coming back on the phone with a recorded greeting telling me my hold time is 3 minutes. Now they are saying my hold time is 6 minutes. Now the estimated hold time is 10 minutes. This is such a rip off. Now I have a hold time of 14 minutes. Now it is 18 minutes. Now it is 24 minutes. Each tim eth ehold time is longer than before. This is so very strange.
If I have to take legal action against you I will. This is not the proper way of doing business if a customer says they do not the service. The company should accept that. I asked for the 1.97 charge not to be charged. I have tried to call to stop this charge. I see that they do not answer there phone. So if I were to accept this 7 days trial, and then later wanted to stop it they would not answer the phone. This is not the proper way of doing business. I have also sent this information to the California Attorney General Office.
I RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY DO BUSINESS WITH YOU. I WILL BE PASSING THE INFORMATION DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I will be contacting my bank to put a stop to this charge.
