I, as many others here, also started receiving weight loss pills in a bottle in a poly-mailer with no invoice or any kind of information in Jan, 09. And like some, since I knew for sure I did not order any weight loss pills I threw away the first bottle thinking it was some kind of free samples. But then I received a second bottle and I was becoming suspicious. I then double checked my credit card statement and there it was, the same $34.84 charge from ADIPOSE, some company in UT with an 800 number (1800-601-0571). And the same charge appear again as current activity in Feb, 09. I had to cancel the card and filed dispute on the charges.

I tried contacted the 800 number and got a voice mail. The scary part is that I only left my name and phone number for them to call back and yet the second day I received an email in my email account from [email protected] saying that my order was canceled! I never gave them my email address! Now I don't know what other information they might have about me and I feel so insecure!

I've always been extra careful when ordering online because of all the scary scams and frauds. And I've only been ordering from reputable online vendors such as Amazon and Gap. I've NEVER order any free trials or memberships online before. Now my question is how did they get a hold of my information including my credit card number!

Now that I see so many others also have the same problem so mine is not an isolated incident. This company needs to be stopped! And I will report this fraud to as many authorizations as I can get to stop them from further victimizing other people!
