Cancelling membership
It is almost impossible to cancel membership. The site eventually will lead to cancellations, then it says you must log on first, but when you log on you cannot get back to the cancellation page.

false advertising
I got on the web site to join the Weight Watchers free trial they show on TV. I never saw anything about the free week, but I thought I would get it when I signed on. After taking all my info it went to pages about what type Weight Watcher did I want, I had no idea so I decided this was not for me ( keep in mind this is all less than 5 min into the signing). I hit the button to cance and I got a email saying no refunds. The amount they charge my card for the free trial was $46.90. I wrote them 3 times explaining to them I was wanting to try the free week but it just was to confusing to me so I canceled and they said they would give me a free week when they renewed my next month fee. I told them all tolal I was on the web site less then 5 min and did not see anything about the plans they said sorry no refunds. I may not know a lot about the online system, but this is not right to charge me for this. I could under stand if I copied all their stuff and then wanted to cancel, BUT I DID NOT. Thanks for letting me complain it seems like everything on the enternet is a scam.

Cancellation
Today is 6/16/08. On 6/9/08 I e-mailed Weight Watchers to cancel my monthly pass. I still have not received a confirmation either by mail or e-mail me back. I was very easy to join but why can't I cancel my pass as fast?

Charged for service I didn't want
I signed up for the 3 month Weight Watchers online plan and enjoyed using Weight Watcher's services. However, I'm on a fixed budget and decided that I would not renew after 3 months. I did not remember that my membership would be automatically renewed until I asked them to cancel it. So, now I've paid for 2 months I never used because it was charged to my credit card. Weight Watchers will not refund this unwanted and unused service because I didn't cancel per the agreement. Anybody else have this problem? I understand that I agreed to the contract but sure wish WW would notify us shortly before renewal time to remind us. I feel taken advantage of and not valued as a customer.

Degrading
I have a closee relative that joined weight watchers and the weigh in 2woman are very mean. And the leader was spoken to about them!! This woman is over weight and needs support not to be degraded and feel unwanted and ashamed!! Shew couldn't afford to even join but her self esteem is so low and conscianous so MUCH!! She is so discouraged!! These women there are all skinny and look down on my relative. They're snappy at her!! Give orders to her! My relative wanted to walk out! She felt very embarrarased!! Her friend went and spoke to the leader about it!!! My relative hads a very hard time sticking up for herself!! She's sooo down on her weight problem ands doesn't need this kind of treatment that she pays for!!The leader is nice, but these weigh in women are very MEAN!! Something needs to be done! If they do not have a weight problem then they will not be supportive!! I certainly hope you will solve this problem!! The meetings are Tues's @ 4:30-6:15 @ thr Comfort Inn @ Suites in St. Johnsbury, VT. Thank-you for your time and help!!! I look forward to hearing from you when this is solved!!

unlawfully charged my account
I signed up for their 7 day free trial. It required me to input my credit card information but said I would not be charged if I cancelled within 7 days. However, even though I cancelled within the 7 days, they still charged my account the day after I cancelled! I have searched all over their website but they do not provide a phone number to call and only provide email information. I have sent 2 emails thus far and have not received a response. I have never dealt with such bad business!!!

NOT INFORMED OF FEES PRIOR/ILL TREATMENT
SIGNED UP FOR WW IN MARION, SC ABOUT 8 WEEKS AGO AND HAD TO MISS MY LAST MEETING DUE TO SICK CHILDREN. UPON WEIGHING IN AT THE FOLLOWING MEETING I WAS INFORMED I HAD TO PAY ALTHOUGH I DID NOT COME TO THE MEETING. I ASKED WHERE THIS WAS DOCUMENTED AND EXPLAINED I HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THIS PRIOR. AT THIS TIME THE OLDER LADY HELPING ME BECAME DEFENSIVE SAYING THAT IT WAS IN BOOK 1. I TOLD HER THAT EVERYONE HAS EMERGIENCIES AND SHE ASKED WHAT KIND OF EMERGENCY AND I TOLD HER SICK CHILDREN. AT THIS TIME I GAVE HER THE CHECK AND SHE SAID. WELL YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THAT (IN A VERY SARCASTIC TONE) AND TRIED TO GIVE ME BACK THE CHECK BACK. AFTER FEELING LIKE I HAD BEEN REPRAMANDED FOR SOMETHING I TOLD HER TO KEEP THE CHECK AND GATHERED MY THINGS AND LEFT. I CAME HOME AND READ BOOK 1 AND THIS INFO IS NOT IN THERE. THIS TYPE TREATMENT COULD DETER A MEMBER FROM RETURNING.

Cannot cancel membership!
I joined Weight Watchers under the Tenn Care partner's Program. It's funny how I was able to speak with a live person to join, but now they say my only option is to leave a message for them to call me back to cancel, yet they never do! They tell me I cannot speak to anyone about canceling, that this department that only takes messages, is my only choice! I also had a complaint about how I was treated on the phone, as well as at my first meeting, but as you may guess, there is no one willing to take my call about that either!
