Numerous calls
I have a loan with this company and I go 2 days past the due date and they call me non stop all day long. There has to be something that can be done about this. I understand wanting to collect the money, but I have a 30 day grace period on my loan!!! Why do I get called 2 days after it is late? STOP THE CALLS!!!

Made payment but took car away
As with a lot of people around the country, I am having some financial difficulties. Got behind on my car loan payments. Received a phone call stating that the car would be repossessed if they did not receive my current late payments (totaling just a little over $1, 000) by 5:00PM. Was able to borrow the money and wired the payment to Wells Fargo. As I am sitting in my car waiting on hold to speak with an account manager, Repo man comes in and hooks my car up to his truck. Finally got on the phone with the agent and gives them confirmation that the payment was sent but tells me that there is nothing they can do as the Repo company already has my car hooked up. Superior manager happens to be out of the office and I cannot speak with someone until tomorrow. I'm not blaming anyone about being late as it is my responsibility to make sure that I make my payments on time but why would they tell me that I have up until 5:00PM to make the payment before a repo man is sent out to retrieve the car. I was also told after the car had been taken away that my situation would have to be reviewed by a manager to see if I can even retrieve the car.

ballon payment on auto loan
I have car loan with Wells Fargo and my maturity date was September 2010. Wells Fargo said that they give me an extention back in 2008. Now they tell me I owe them a ballon payment of 1648.89 with 18.49% interest compounded daily and am 81days past due.Which I have been making a payment monthly. I tried to my arrangements for three payments. I was told to have a nice day. That they want the full amount on December 27th. I have nothing in writing about a ballon payment, accept for a demand for payment letter. They call me twenty times a day from 8 am until 8pm leaving threating messages. I am tired of being harrased, Wells Fargo already has taken advantage of me with a loan for 18.49%. Now they want to reposses the car.Please advise.

Unauthorized Withdrawal from Bank Account
I bank at Wells Fargo and had made payments to WFAF over the phone so they had my routing and account numbers. After 3 years of making payments, I became late [over 30 days] on my payment and asked them for an extension due to my moving and incurring extraordinary expenses related to the move. They told me I HAD to make a payment and would not work with me. I got paid on the 1st and on the 2nd they cleaned out my bank account for $821. My payment was only $699 but they took the rest in "interest". Wells Fargo Bank Customer Service could do nothing and said they are allowed to do this! They not only debited my account but they put a "Deposit Hold" on the $821 also so they actually froze $1, 642 until the debit cleared. This made me overdrawn and my RENT check bounced. The bank did pay it but I had to get two loans to cover the lost funds and NSF fees. I then closed my account at WF and WFAF can repo the vehicle. I am done doing business with them! They harass you and the robocalls begin the day after your payment is due. They call all day long! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

CP, False Reposession and Inppropriate Late fees
Don't EVER GET A LOAN FROM THESE THEIVES!
I've commented on others' complaints but need to expound a bit on my experience.
I purchased a vehicle in 2006 with a co-signer at 12.5% (sub prime). It's supposed to be almost paid off however, they just reposessed my vehicle after almost 4 years of timely payments, the loan being 13 calendar days late, my car is gone. Also, as many other people have posted in their complaints, I have had collateral protection insurance attached on and off over the course of the last 4 years regardless of the fact that I have had full coverge insuance.
I really want people mostly to know that there ARE class action law suits open and moving full steam ahead for most of these violations. I'm working on ensuring that I am considered in any and ALL of them. I have posted links below for those of you who have had the unfortunate experience of being completely raped, bullied, ripped off and lied to by these clowns. I am working to get my car back in my possession by playing their game for now but being the fourth largest bank in the nation, completing a multi million dollar purchase of Wachovia and being named in many lawsuits for preditory lending, ruining credit scores falsely and other inappropriate and illegal practices, I hope everyone knows there is a way out of your situation.
Get your paperwork in order because these guys are going down and you may be part of the injured class, keep contacting local representatives in Congress (it's mid term election season!) and make sure to keep Balboa named in your complaints as they are very tightly connected to the Wells Fargo Bank N.A., Wells Fargo Auto Finance and Wachovia conglomorate!
PLEASE KEEP POSTING YOUR EXPERIENCES! I may be lucky and get my car back, pay it off and they had better hope they have the title as I do have the resources to take them for a long walk off of a short pier!

I also received a letter from you wanting verification of auto insurance on my loan. All the information has been given to you along with verification.
Your (so called) website is a farce. If you want verifacation then call the branch I got the loan thru and they should have the info. If not then call me. I'm sure my home phone number is on the account somewhere.

MAKING CAR PAYMENTS
I LOST MY JOB A YEAR AGO, I WAS NEVER LATE ON MY CAR PAYMENTS NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS MAKING THE FULL AMOUNT ON MY PAYMENTS EVERY TIME I ASK FOR SOME ADVICE I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND. SEPT, 2010 I PUT $200.00 down on my car payment, i did not see the amount was not taking off for my payment . i need my car for looking for jobs can you please have some that will take the time and see if we can make arrangement i do not have enough money to put tires on my car. in october i will send some money for my payment. thank you for listening. october 17, 2010.

Arrogant, nasty, customer service
My accounts from Wachovia, 4 in all have been sold to Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo in now MY bank! God help us!
Today I put a call into auto financing and spoke to Rubin Flores. I explained I had an abandoned auto on my property and records show they are the Title holder. Several moths ago I had called to have the Auto picked up and was told it wasn't worth it for them. This time I offered $500.00 for the title so I could have a tow truck pick it up and haul it off and sell it for parts. He said hire an attorney!! Why would I need to hire an attorney to help them..?? He was probably to most ignorant person I have spoken to in quite a while. I guess you don't need a very high IQ for his job! It's ok to be mentally challenged but to be rude on top of it..!! Is this what I have to look forward to dealing with Wells Fargo?? I will be taking my 4 accounts elsewhere because of his actions.. BTW.. if anyone is in the market for a 03, Ford

If you are looking for a loan, do not use Wells Fargo Auto. If you are behind on payments in any fashion, be forewarned of how you will be treated when you call in to make arangements. This is coming from a mild-mannered, very logical, patient person. As of today, my car payment is 5 days late. FIVE DAYS. I called in because this month, I need to pay it on the 27th - which is late, I realize. It's too much to type here, but please note, coming from a very sane and logical person - I was crying by the time I hung up (and I hung up on the woman.) I did not realize a call to let them know I will be a few weeks late this month would turn into someone yelling at me, talking down to me, taunting me, questioning my finances - with very harsh language and manner. It was shocking. It was unprofessional. I decided to let her keep talking and talking, because I figured at the end I could repeat myself "I HAVE NO MONEY I CAN PAY YOU ON 8-27" - nothing she was going to say can change the fact that I have no money. She was horrible, it was horrible. This sort of stuff has gone on throughout the duration of my loan, but was today was bad. REALLY BAD. Please dont use Wells Fargo Auto for your car loans. Its just not worth it.

Unathorized automobile payment
Wells Fargo took an unauthorized payment from my account and now has stated they dont record every conversation and they might not be able to return my funds. They are supposedly checking to see if they have the conversation recorded.
Do not authorize them to ever take funds from your account they took an additional payment from mine and have shown little to no proactivity in correcting the issue.
