Because i do not have a Wachovia Branch that i can go do, i have to do Bank by Mail to Wells Fargo. My roomate goes to online collage and ever 6 months or so she gets sent what is left over of her school loans. She doesn't have a bank acct and cant get one. I told her we will just do bank by mail with wells fargo into my acct. the first 2 times was a dream sent the chesk over night priority mail they got posted to my acct. She just recently recieve another school check she singhed them i put my acct number on them and i also signed them. sent them priority mail. i had to call wachovia customer service had to explane what was going on they called the bank by mail dept and was told that because my roomate wasn't on my acct they could not deposit them into my acct but back in oct and dec of last yr they deposited checks that were in her name, we put my acct number on teh back and i sighted them and a few days later they had been posted to the acct but this time they refuse. I have never heard of this kind of business practice. i alwasy thought that as long as the person signed them over to you and you put them in your acct it was good to go. all other banks i have banked with do not have this kind of business practive. To Say the Least neither of us are very pleased at the present time with Wells Fargo.
