Refund
On 7.26.10 I filed a complaint that charges were made to my Chase Bank as well as Wells Fargo Bank card on Behalf of Enterprise Rental Car. I called to file claims to both banks regarding charges. Chase Bank reversed the charges on 7.26.10, Wells reversed charges of $800.00 (per letter dated 8.31.10), then reversed the provisional line of credit stating that was denied and was issued a NSF fee of $35.00 as the account didn't have $800 in it. On 9.02.10 I called bank, got Connie, she said they were closed. Called 9.03.10, got Matt, he refused to help me or transfer me to Supervisor. On 09.03.10, went into Tempe branch, spoke with Randy, couldn't help me. 9.09.10, called, spoke with Kent, refused to reverse fees, refused to close account or help me. 9.11.10 returned call to Aileen, left voice mail to callback. 9.15.10 called Aileen again, left voice mail to callback. Called again recording stated "unable to process transaction". Called again, same recording again. Called back, spoke to Krista, she got Jamie. Jamie said all I needed to do was a "means of collection letter" and fax to 866.519.3576. She would reverse provisional line of credit. I did & faxed the very next day. On 10.23.10 called to get balance, charges of $800.00 reversed again from account on 10.13.10 per Heather. She stated claim is closed out & will not be reversed. She gave me claims assistance phone number 800.548.9554.
This is ongoing problem and they are yo-yo-ing my account with charges that have been reversed. This needs to stop.

Money needs to be refunded to account as per letter I faxed to them on 09.15.10, which served as means of collection letter to resolve situation as per conversation with Jamie on 9.15.10. Money needs to be returned and this matter closed. This is regarding fraudulent charges made they do not want to have to collect from Enterprise Rental Car. This is illegal!!!

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION
I FELT LIKE YOUR BANK TREATED ME LIKE A CRIMINAL CASHING A STOLEM CHECK. I AM A HARD WORKING RESIDENT OF LODI AND AM APPAULED BY THE TYPE OF TREATMENT I RECEIVED AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT.


I WENT IN TO WELLS FARGO LODI BANK AND TRIED TO CASH MY PAYROLL CHECK. THE WOMAN SAID THT SHE NEEDED TO VERFIY THE CHECK. I WAITED 20 MINUTESWHILE SHE SAT CLICKING THE SCREEN, I ASKED FOR HER TO GET A MANAGER SHE SAID THEY ARE ALL BUSY AND THEN THE WOMAN PRECEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THE SIGNATURES ON THE CHECK DIDN’T MATCH. I ASKED HER TO HURRY BECAUSE I AM ON MY LUNCH AND SHE CAN CALL MY EMPLOYER IF SHE NEEDS TO. SHE SAID THAT SHE HAS TO VERFIY IT THIS WAY AND LEFT ME AT HER DESK AND WENT IN THE BACK AND WAS GONE FOR 20 MORE MINUTES. I NEVER FELT SO EMBARRASED; I WAS OBVIOUSLY GETTING SUCH LOWSY TREATMENT BECAUSE I DON’T BANK THERE AND THE COLOR OF MY SKIN. I WAS IN THIER BANK A TOTAL OF 45 MINUTES BEFORE THEY PAID ME.

Chex Systems
Wells Fargo told Chex Systems I owe them nearly $500. I do not owe Wells Fargo any amount of money and a banker at Wells Fargo confirmed this. The problem is they don't want to help me take the balance off of Chex Systems. Chex Systems is a bank reporting company that tracks people who owe banks money so that other banks won't do business with the person. I can't get an account with ANY bank because Wells Fargo doesn't want to contact Chex Systems to remove the negative balance notice. The banker at Wells told me to contact Chex Systems myself but that company doesn't take calls from consumers. Chex Systems is for banks not for consumers and I can't change anything with them because it's not a credit report where you can dispute stuff. Wells Fargo is leaving me stuck between a rock and a hard place with their beaurocracies and lack of trust because they don't want to right their mistake.
They also created an account for me on the fly, like they love to do, and NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT THE ACCOUNT BEING OPENED. Then "someone" made a transaction without me even knowing the account was open and put the account negative. WHO made the transaction. WElls fargo doesn't seem to care. I'm sick of broken machine Wells Fargo has become. You may like Wells Fargo if you bank there and they haven't screwed anything up on you yet, but don't worry, they will soon. Thanks!

Poor customer service
I am disappointed that your bank has recently terminated the personal banker that I have been using for the last several years. As I understand it, she was let go for a lack of new sales. Well, I am terminating my relationship with you for a lack of understanding that it is better to serve your existing customers than to obtain new sales.

Last summer my daughter's credit card was cancelled while she was in Honduras volunteering at an orphanage for five weeks. Her card was upgraded, automatically canceling her existing card. I contacted wells Fargo before she left the country to notify you that she would be out of the country for five weeks and where she would be. I was reassured that I took the right step contacting the bank beforehand. This debit card was the only way I could get money to my daughter.

When I was notified, in writing, that her card would be cancelled I called the 800 number and spoke to four different representatives and got two different alternating stories. It was an automatic upgrade or the card was compromised. Nobody could provide a through answer. I was switched from representative to representative. I never did get a straight answer. Nobody provided any customer service, except Carol Anderson my personal banker. She went the extra mile to arrange a wire transfer to a bank in Honduras so my daughter could get enough money to complete her stay and return home. She apologized that such a mix up could occur. Why would Wells Fargo upgrade a card when they had already been notified that the card hauler was going to be out of the country for five weeks?

Carol Anderson was the only reason I didn't cancel all my accounts at that time. Now you've gotten rid of the only person who was willing to help me during a crisis. If it is your attitude that customer service is secondary to obtaining new accounts, fine. Go get some new accounts, because I am canceling mine.

If yours is the type of bank that puts your bottom line before mine, then you're not the bank for me. One of the reasons I trusted in Wells Fargo was because Warren Buffet trusted in you. As a stockholder I'm writing Berkshire Hathaway to let them know that they should reconsider their investment in Wells Fargo, since the bank is cutting costs to spite its long term goals. If your only goal is to make money, good for you, but you make it from your customers and this isnt the type of service that pleases customers.

Igores my Requests
REGARDING THE FRUAD POLICIES OF WELLS FARGO BANK: I am a Diabled American Veteran with a First and Second Mortgage with Wells Fargo Bank. FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS, I have tried unsuccessfully to renegotiate my Second Mortgage at 15.5% Down with this bank. I have been ignored and after two months of each request, they declare my Applications no longer active and erase all former requests of mine. I receive back no responses to my emails, my telephone messages or my Fax's even though I keep all evidence they have received my Fax's.
I have asked the help of our United States Senator Michael Bennett who has written to Wells Fargo in my behalf. NO RESPONSE. I AM INTO MY 3RD YEAR OF THIS!!!

NSF fees
Complaint: Rudeness
On Sep. 17, 2010 I noticed a NSF charge on my account for a charge on 9/2/2010 called Wells Fargo Customer service for a reversal. According to my online accounts they had no reason for to withdrawl fee. Spoke to Carl (a)in Sacramento, California advised me he/she could not give me full credit only partial. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Courtney came on the line and was extremely RUDE, very loud and had no customer service whatsoever. Courtney should no hold that type of position if she cannot handle complaints in a manner that does not aggravate the other party. My complaint now is not the NSF- Wells fargo can ...the 35.00! My complaint is the rudeness of the agent and truely believe she needs to be replaced! I have been a Wells fargo customer over 12 years and I will find another bank that will love to take my money!

Inept, incompetent, Deceptive
STAY AWAY FROM WELLS FARGO BANK!!! MY ATTEMPT TO WIRE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT TO A CORRESPONDING BANK IN CANADA RESULTED IN LOST FUNDS, MISINFORMATION, LIES, ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR BY MANAGEMENT AND FAILURE TO MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO SOLVE THE DILEMMA.
MY INQUIRIES INTO WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY WERE MET WITH MADE-UP EXCUSES, RECRIMINATIONS, AND A HOW DARE YOU QUESTION US ATTITUDE.
EVEN THE BANK MANAGER STATED TO ME TO THAT SOME EMPLOYEES ARE NOT THOROUGHLY TRAINED, WHICH IS COMMON IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY. THAT I AND CUSTOMERS ALIKE SHOULD EXPECT IT, AND TO LIVE WITH IT!
THAT MADE ME FEEL VERY SECURE ABOUT WELLS FARGO HANDLING MY MONEY.
NO ONE, INCLUDING BRANCH MANAGEMENT AND UPPER LEVEL MANAGMENT APPOLOGIZED FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, CONCERN AND ANXIETY. NO ONE CARED ABOUT MAKING ANY ATTEMPT TO TRACE AND FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY.
I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY MEET A NON- MANAGEMENT WELLS FARGO EMPLOYEE THAT CARED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND NOT AT ALL INTERESTED IN FALSE BRAVADO.
SHE IMMEDIATLY SET ABOUT TO RESEARCH AND TRACE THE LOST WIRE.
UNFORTUNATLY, AFTER GETTING NOWHERE FOR A WEEK WITH THE SO CALLED MANAGERS, I NOW HAVE TO WAIT AN ADDTIONAL FEW DAYS TO TRACE THE FUNDS.
I DO NOT EXPECT THE YOUNG LADY THAT FINALLY ASSISTED ME TO ADVANCE VERY FAR WITH WELLS FARGO. SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT ACTUALLY DISPLAYED INTELLIGENCE AND COMPASSION. OBVIOUSLY A RARE COMMODITY AT THIS MOSCOW IDAHO WELLS FARGO BRANCH.
IF YOU DEAL WITH WELLS FARGO, GET OUT! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT, DON'T! IF YOU MUST, REMEMBER THAT THE CHANCE OF CONFRONTING INCOMPETENCE IS FAR GREATER THAN YOU THINK.

Crooked Business pratices
The government needs to put a clamp on these bastards! They are screwing their customers left and right!
I am convinced that their software is specifically written to delay deposits, put larger debits first, etc all in order to nail you with overdraft fees, and these fees are OUTRAGEOUS!! This is a CRIME!!! I'll be running low, I check my account several times daily, and I'll deposit cash, checks whatever, and suddenly, they post all the debits FIRST, starting with the largest, and THEN post my deposit, so they can fuck me over!

Apparently I'm not the only one, I have seen many many hundreds of complaints from others.

Overdrafts
Well I would be here all day if I had to list all the underhanded practices I have experienced in dealing with Wells Fargo Bank. It goes from me depositing 5- 100 dollar bills in the ATM, and them telling me I only deposited 400 dollars. Fought with them to no avail. Having a positive balance from my direct deposit, at 5 am and using it at 6 am, then they overdrafted me and said that my money wasnt available till 8am, strangely enough if you click on your (available balance) where it explains it it says this si the most recent picture of funds available for withdrawl. They actually have the B___s to argue with you about whats clearly written in THEIR policies. The latest, well I need to get a direct deposit advance. (thanks to all the overdraft crap), but apparently I'm not elligible because I'm overdrawn, (I'm showing a positive balance with no pending transacions), or I'm bankrupt (I'm not bankrupt). What a joke this bank is. If they want to rip off people to keep their failing institutions head above water, they can cut their employees ie; bank mgrs, ceo's fat whopping bonuses.

mortagage
We have been trying for 8 months to refinance with Wells Fargo and theyREFUSE to help us. So we went to another financial institution and agian Wells Fargo REFUSED to subordate our 2nd mortagage for us to re-finance. Wells Fargo is looking into a modification rate for us and they came back to us with amount that is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. It's apparent to us that Wells Fargo has no interest in customer service. We will do everything we can take our business else where. We have also written a note to our Congressman and we will be updating him your lack of co-operation. Forward this compliant to an employee of Wells Fargo that recieved my tax dollars in a simulus bonus this year and have him get back to me. We will be waiting for his call.
