Pay by Phone debits
Wells Fargo is using a "Pay by Phone" service and what they are collecting for does not show up on my bank statement, only the fact they are collecting and a transaction date. This is a bad practice; my credit union should not allow it and Wells Fargo should not execute the practice. The practice makes it look like someone is debiting my bank account without my authorization. This is a bank practice that needs changing. The typical entry on my statement looks like this:
WFC PBP CP PAYBYPHONE 112309
How is one to know the validity of the entry? The only thing that changes from one entry to the next is the date.

My bank card
Someone used my bank card at a gas station that I NEVER use. I complained to the bank and they refuse to give me $60 back. I written letters and letters and they tell me the same thing. That they looked into it and I am not going to get my money.
The Wells Fargo bank is at the corner of Story and King Roads in east San Jose, CA.

unreliable bank, they sucks!
NEVER bank with Wells Fargo (especially in Cerritos branch) nor attempt to apply for mortgage loan because this bank will make you wait for nothing and deny the loan 1 day before escrow closes. We've experienced so much stress with this bank. I personally never had any bad experience with any other bank institutions before ---- Wells Fargo Bank is the worst and I just couldn't imagine why they could treat their client's so unprofessional and couldn't accept their fault. Lesson learned, do not trust your loan officer when it comes to processing loan because no matter how long they have been with this bank they still don't what they're doing and you're just totally wasting your time. Also with this bank, if they deny your loan they DO NOT reimburse your loan application fee which is $495.00.

Awful, awful, awful
I had hail damage on August 13th 2008. I received a check from my Insurance company with in one week. When I went to Wellsfargo in St.Cloud MN I was told because it was over $15.000 dollars it would have to go to the banks claim department. Here is where the horror story starts. It took many days off work to keep water from flooding my kitchen and two bathrooms because the skylights were broken out. I made so many calls to Wellsfargo to plead with them to send the 1st part of the money out, since it gets paid out in 3 payments.
I tried to keep tarps on the roof but it was to windy and they kept tearing and blowing off. I could not get a contractor to come out with no money down and when some of them found out that Wellsfargo had the mortgage they refused to work for me because they feared that they would not get paid. I was repeatedly lied to by them saying that they mailed the check out only to find out it didn't get sent until October 2nd.In the beginning of this I told Wellsfargo that there was a purchase agreement written on my house and closing was set for Oct, 26th. I have yet to see any more of the Insurance money.
So I am asking you to help me figure out where the money is and how do I get something that is rightfully mine. AS of today I only received 1/3rd of the $18.000 dollars. This is not right and I will fight this to thew end.

incompetent with mortgage
Wells Fargo bought our mortgage in 2004 and we have been in HELL ever since. They refuse to send us a monthly statement to make mortgage payments. They refuse to send us our 1098 to do our taxes. I have written over 30 complaint letters to customer service without any written reply. They do a computer call and they say they responded to our complaints. The biggest hell was they decided we needed flood insurance and started charging us. I ended up hiring a lawyer after 3 years of this S**T. So far WF has paid us back almost $5, 000 and we are working on a class action lawsuit. I had to put out almost $1, 000 for the lawyer. I still am not getting monthly statements or my tax paperwork. I had the phone shut off so they can't call me anymore. Oh yes, they put our house in foreclosure too. I made my house payment for 11 years without ONE PROBLEM and within 3 years under the reign of WF, my house ends up on a foreclosure list. I always made my house payment, the foreclousure was over the escrow money they said we owed them. First, I don't have an escrow account with WF, I pay my property taxes and home owner insurance and I stopped paying the flood insurance amount from the house payment since I don't need flood insurance. I can only imagine what my credit score is now after these Bastards. I had excellent credit till the BANK OF SATIN took over my mortgage. I can't take another 9 years as my mortgage lender without someone going to shed blood. They should have their name changesd to HELLS FARGO, BANK OF SATAN.

Greedy bank
This year my house was foreclosed on May 6, 2008. I realize I'm among thousands of people that this happened to, but in my situation, I had a contract to sell my house a week before it went into auction. I kept close ties with Wells Fargo Bank, and informed the Bank of my plans to sell and avoid foreclosure of which the real estate agent and I have proof of documentation of faxes sent to Wells Fargo Bank and their lawyers in regards to this sale. The day before the auction, the Bank informed me that the contract to sell my house was valid and complete and the Bank Rep claimed she would send an email to the investor responsible to carry out the sale of the house at the auction bid so it could be stopped, but that I would need to call the next day to make sure and confirm. I called the next day, and another Bank representative informed me that it was too late and my house would be going into auction that day. It was evident that although I tried to avoid this, the Bank had already made it's greedy plans to foreclose. My point in all of this is, I know recently the government had bailed out wall street and financial institutions, but I believe it's time the government helps to bail out those of us who have lost our homes. It seems that all I hear is the talk about how the government plans to help people stay in their homes to prevent foreclosure, but what about those of us who have already lost our homes to foreclosure. These new programs to help people stay in their homes to avoid foreclosure will surely help, but not for me any longer; my house now belongs to HUD, and may have already sold. When I think about my foreclosed house, I think about the meals I used to cook in my kitchen; the laughter of my kids running around the house; my family in the family room watching TV, and I really miss the house I once owned; I cry every time I talk about it, as I am crying while I am writing. My 10 year old daughter said the other day, " mommy I want to go back home to our house in Sonoma Ranch" I know she's been crying and missing the house she once knew as a home. I bought this house in 2002 as a single mother of 2 children, but after being laid off from my job 2 years ago and still have not been able to find suitable employment, I could not keep up with the payments even after I married last year and with my husbands income we still could not keep up because I was already behind on the payments of which the loan had been modified 3 times, and the Bank just kept increasing the payments until we could no longer handle it and decided to sell the house, but little did I know that the Bank already had plans to foreclose. We are living in a relatives home on a temporary basis until we can find a new home, at this point the Northside ISD has declared our 10 year old daughter as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act, and is allowing my daughter to continue at the same school which was close by our foreclosed house near Helotes TX. I didn’t want to change her from the school and friends she knew since kindergarten and had to inform the school of our loss of housing and temporary housing situation. Please hear my story, I want other's to know and understand that we tried to prevent foreclosure by attempting to sell our house, and even had a valid contract to sell to a sincere buyer, but the greedy Wells Fargo Bank should be ashamed especially since the bail out will just make it ok for this Bank to continue with it's greed. Our American dream has shattered, while this Bank continues with their greed.

Checking Account Scam
Wells Fargo is scamming consumers. I would like other people to be aware of what they are doing so they don't get taken advantage of like my husband and I have been.
In short, Wells Fargo sent us a promotional offer in the mail to open up a free checking account with them and receive a $50 bonus. I called over the phone and opened an account with them giving them the promotional code for the $50 bonus. They never deposited the bonus and when I contacted them about this they said I had to talk to the customer service rep that set up the account but I can't get him to return my calls. So I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. They responded to the BBB saying they are unable to determine the promotion requested and they have not given me my $50 bonus. I gave them all the information that was on the mailer as it stated to do.
Wells Fargo offered me a promotion to open a checking account and now they won't honor it. I find this very upsetting for me as a consumer to have Wells Fargo use a bait and switch marketing scam to get customers and I feel consumers need to be aware so they don't fall victim to this same scam.

Shady Business Practices, Posting and Overdraft and Bounced check fees
Wells Fargo Bank Sucks. In my opinion. This bank has a lot of nerve.
Not only do they have shady accounting practices, to their advantage,
taking my hard earned money for their undeserved fees, and posting practices, now, they are putting lengthy 2 week holds on depsoits, for
no apparent reason. (oh excuse me, for my protection, so I don't incur the fees if the deposit should be rejected. RIGHT!) The opposite, I believe. Especially, when Never have I had a deposit rejected or one that doesn't clear. This particular depsoit was from my Homeowners Insurance for Roof repairs from storm damage... Which I am prevented now from having repaired while the weather is nice, or even putting a deposit down on the work because of WELLS FARGO AND THEIR "POLICY" PRACTICES. THEY ARE DIRTY DEVILS. DON'T GET HOOKED UP WITH THESE PEOPLE IN ANY WAY.

Bad business
I opened a minor savings account for my new son who was about to turn one and wanted all of his birthday money to go into the new account. A whole month after I opened the account I kept receiving notices that the bank was missing ID information on my baby. So I took the notice in and gave appropriate ID and 2 weeks ago today the bank shut down and closed all of my accounts, including my debit card, checking account and 3 savings accounts without notifying me, after of course they told me everything was fine with all my accounts. And it just so happens that the day my accounts were closed was bill day, the day I sent off all the bills for the month. So I go into the local branch after talking with the extremely rude call center and I speak with the Assistant Vice President of the Corona, CA branch and he sat down wth me and found out that all of my accounts were closed due to bank error! And all of my money was withdrawn and sent in check form to my house. This was 2 weeks ago, my checks for my bills are all bouncing, rent is due tomorrow and I'm out $1600 due to bank error. The Assistant Vice President keeps telling me "any day now". The bank has done NOTHING to compensate me except order me a custom design box of checks for free. And the funniest part about this is that they cannot put a stop payment on the check they issued since there is no tracking number! What is wrong with this? DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO-BAD FRAUDULENT BUSINESS

Overcharged
I paid off my student loan, last July of 2007. I got the exact payoff from them direct. Since than they have said that I still owe 400$. They are nasty, they lie and say they have no notes. In May of January, and May of 2008 I sent them 60$, and than 100$, I spoke to the rep and we agreed I was done and the account would be satisfied as an agreement. Well here I am, October of 2008, they still say, I owe them 400$, they are threating me, my father, and I am frustrated. I am also a New York City Fireifgter, who just received two stents in my heart. I am freaking out!!! I hope someone can help me!!!
