Screwing Again!!!
They have been screwing me for over a year now – in November they told me I owed them $5, 400 within three weeks or foreclosure would begin. I was ONE payment behind, about $3, 000 in late fees and the rest was when they screwed me on the loan modification that I declined (it ended up being a higher interest rate and was no help to me at all). I came up with the money borrowing from 401K, mom and gave them everything I had. I had mailed them (electronically) $1, 000 about 4 times and then a $1, 400 payment. (The whole year or more, they were marking me as 3 months late on my credit report, which in fact, I was only one month late)
Okay, NOW they say I am negative $550 in escrow. They took one of my $1, 000 payments, and added it to escrow, taking me out of the negative and now have a positive escrow balance of over $450. They say that I am again one payment behind which means they will report to the credit agency a 30-day late. Of course, they were supposed to put all of that towards my principal balance, they said nothing about Escrow. I think i may contact a lawyer!!!

home policy cancelation
We recieved a letter yesterday from our home policy company if they don't recieve a payment by christmas day(5 days away) they will cancel our policy. After investigating the past 12 months of payment statements, we discovered the Wells Fargo escrow department sent a payment to the home policy company a few months ago but it was not correct. We now have to come up with $239 to pay or be without insurance. I know Wells Fargo is going to get a really mad phone call tomorrow. I never had any problems with Wachovia. It's a shame they were turned over to Wells Fargo thru no fault of our own. I'm gonna pay the $239 to make sure we don't lose our insurance. Right now my hubby and I are not going to buy presents for each other. I also noticed on our last statement they haven't paid my county taxes like Wachovia did every November. Thank you Wells Fargo for trying to get us to lose our house.

They tried to take our home.
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is a joke. In October 2010 I received a phone call from Wells Fargo stating that we were 4 months behind on our mortgage payments. I explained to them that I had made every monthly payment like always and was confused as to how this was. I was told that there was not enough money in my escrow to cover my taxes and insurance so they "Did me a favor" and paid them for me. I was then told that the last 4 monthly payments had been taken to repay my debt to them for paying my taxes and insurance. So in short every month that I thought I was paying my mortgage they were actually taking it to pay themselves back for them "doing me a favor". I told them I wanted to keep my house and asked what I needed to do to make that happen. They asked me for my financial information so they could set me up on some sort of repayment plan. I went through this several times and was told that there was no help available. I told them I could send them $1, 500.00 and they told me that would stop the foreclosure and I could pay the rest before the next mortgage payment was due the following month. I sent them the $1, 500.00 via my bank and was under the impression the everything was fine and that I had enough time to pay the rest off before the deadline. On November 8th I received a letter from an Attorney stating that my house was in foreclosure. I called Wells Fargo and was told that the money I sent them was sent back to the bank because they would not accept partial payments. I was then instructed to call the Attorney. The original amount I was told I owed them was $2, 169.00. When I called the Attorney I was told that I now owed $3, 200.18 because of Attorney fees, late charges, inspections, etc. I was told this amount was good until November 15th. On November 13th paperwork was filed with the court and the amount rose to $3, 928.08. I feel like I have been bent over and screwed hard. I sent the Attorney the money to have all of this taken care of, but I am now very nervous after reading all the horror stories on here as to what will really happen with the money that I sent the Attorney. I am told that I will receive a letter from the court stating that the foreclosure has been dismissed and everything will be back on track, but for how long? The scary part about all of this is that this is not the first time we have had issues with Wells Fargo. We would love to refinance, but because of all the trouble we have had with them our credit score is in the toilet. My only question is how many more times are we going to have to deal with this crap?

Foreclosure
I have been going back and forth with Wells Fargo for about a year and a half. After Obama signed to get help now, Wells Fargo then approved me for a home modification workout program. I then sent in my 3 trial payments and they LOST ALL MY PAPERWORK for the home modification workout, that I sent via FedEx. With a signature. I then was angry but resent all the documents that I scanned and sent it to them via fax. Soon there after I have been calling the banks, asking for when will I get my final modification. I got so many people's names I called on a daily basis to hear that I haven't been approved for the modification and then they send me paper work dated 8-10-09 to sign 5-10-10. I said no ways will I sign that documents especially when they messed up. On a weekly basis, I been sending them a hardship letter, proof of income, and any documents that they asked for it has been faxed within 24 hours. Last week I been sent a court order saying we haven't appeared in court, neither have we been served from a process server. How can they just make us lose our home without sending us any type of documents to appear in court? I hired a local attorney however, now I have gotten a letter from a Commisioner in the state of Hawaii to take over our house and remove us from it. I am seeking any help I can to get what I deserve. If there is anyone who can help me, I can be reached by email at [email protected]

Loan Modification
Wells Fargo are liars and thieves. When I first started having problems they informed me to call HOPE and also contact the Home Affordable Modification Program. After months of getting nowhere and multiple trials payments I am told that the “Investor” that now owns my loan does not do modifications through the Home Affordable Modification Program. I was also told my sale date set for Nov. 24, 2010 would be postponed until Feb. 22, 2011 while I went through another set of 3 month trial payments. I found out today the sale is in four days.

The mortgage on the house next door was owned by Wells Fargo. The mortgage amount was $315, 000 and Wells sold the house for $256, 000 to an investor. How does that make sense unless the government is paying Wells the $59, 000 LOSS. This all doesn’t make sense. I owe $460, 000 on my home and it is now worth $340, 000. So instead of making arrangements for me to pay off the load with a low interest rate Wells would rather sell the house to investors and get reimbursed the $120, 000 LOSS from the government which means the tax payers. I am not looking for principle reduction all I am asking for is a reduction in the interest rate and piggy bag a portion of what I owe so when the economy turns around everyone will get paid. Wells made money when they sold my loan to investors and now Wells will get paid again from the government that guaranteed the loan.

Home Modification
I have lived in my home for 10 years not missing a payment, went on unemployment 2/2010--04/10 I was diagnosed with breast cancer & had surgery/treatments, then 6/2010 had surgery for torn rotary cuff, starting June I received workmans comp of $2100 a month until I go back to work next year. I have been trying to get a loan modification since April 2010, once I got a letter stating that they offered me a modification and turned them down which is a lie. I have sent all paper work in nine times, tax returns, copies of unemployment checks and disability checks, bank statements, tax returns. Oddly they call me to say they only got parts of the paper work so were is the other paper work that was in those envelopes. I am a nurse and will be goign back to work soon so why are these people having me to run back and forth to Office Max to make copies of everything and they are not doing anything since April, it has been eight months and it only takes 30-45 days to approve a loan because I was a loan processor one time so I know. I am to old to walk away from my home and it seems to me they just want my house. Then if you call your loan processor they never return your call !!

Loan Modification
Well... after reading all of the complaints about WF here, I had to chime in. I started the loan process about 6 months ago... I had submitted all info requested, and was told it was in underwriting... after being told all my docs were in, but then getting requests for more docs twice... After " the app was in underwriting"... got a request for more pay stubs and was told again, that was all they needed. I guess the first 6 weren't enough... then...after numerous attempts to find out the status... I arrive home late yesterday to find another fed ex envelope at my door requesting supplemental info to see if I even qualify for this program? Hello????? I want to scream and pull my hair out. So I called... again... and was told that all paperwork needed was in. According to the "notes" on file. Then they sent the envelope. Shouldn't I have gotten this paper in the beginning of the process?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA... off to the funny farm. These people are ridiculous. Then I was told I was still a month behind on my payments, after I went on their website and paid the dollar amount that THEIR website told me to pay to bring the loan current. Trying to get a prepayment now?? Really?????!! Are you freaking kidding me???? I have never (well I shouldn't say this) ever dealt with people with such audacity in my life. I will probably get a forclosure notice in the mail even though I am current. :) In the world of suck? These people win hands down. I think I am going to report them to the Attorney General. Just had to vent, and to all who are going through this as well? I feel your pain. It's bad enough to have to go through this to begin with. Good Luck To All!!

Home loan
Wells Fargo gave us a loan to buy a house for $550, 000 in 2007 . We gave $114, 000 as a down payment. My husband use to make $8, 000 more in 2007 than 2010 . We tried to refinance because we have INTEREST ONLY ADJUSTABLE RATE, and Wells Fargo said: your income is not enough! you can do a short sale instead! I have never seen anything more unfair than this!

Online payment FEE
I was going to pay my mortgage online today and after I put in all my information it tells me they charge $24.95 to my already high mortgage payment just to be able to pay online. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

I have NEVER encountered a company who charged a FEE to pay online before and I hope I NEVER do again. This is gouging, over the top, senseless fees just to save a 44 cent stamp. If there is not already then there should be a law against companies doing these kind of things.

It is NOT worth paying an extra $24.95 just to be able to pay online. This is totally unacceptable.

Wells Fargo Foreclosed on my Property on May 24, 2002. I am not going to quit until "All is Made Good". My home was stolen, and I know who
Wells Fargo and I had a Forebearance Aggreement that I was following when Wells Fargo decided to breach by stating on my monthly mortgage statement that foreclosure preparation has begun. If I wish to retain my property the loan must be brought current immediatly Total of Forebearance Agreement. Breaching the agreed upon Forebearance Agreement; then tryed to lure me into a deceitful Loan Modification by misleading, and requiring me to do so, and stating that they have investor approval, then making it look like I had requested the Modification. Trying to place the burden of a request on me. They say we must advise you your request for Modification has been denied for the following reasons: "We are unable to come to a mutual agreement." Whatever that is supposed to mean? Then foreclosed (10) days later, and sent me notice of sale (2) weeks after that.
I have tryed to retain an Attorney more than once! Useless... aren't any confident enough in themselves to battle with Wells Fargo. It's not a reason that I dont have a case, because I have saved every letter, Mortgage Statement, Bank Statement, even have a Customer Account Activity Report from wells fargo showing they received payments. I have paperwork situated in cronological order, along with the Arizona Revised Statues that were violated. I have a solid case with nowhere to take it. It is almost pointless to seek an attorney, especially like the first one I had who calls me to meet with him at his office. Upon arrival he asks me If I happen to show up to the Judgment Hearing? I said "No" you are supposed to tell me where and what I showup for. So he lost that for me!! I have recently submitted a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals Office for Consumer Fraud directly or indirectly affecting State Commerce for consumers within the state of Arizona by deceitful and misleading practices used to obtain real property. So far Wells Fargo has replied back to the Consumer Complaints Manager with information intended to mislead the Attorney Generals Office, with information not consistant with the records I have saved. I only fear that the Attorney Generals Office will not pursue my case because they may lack a significant amount of complaints from consumers in Arizona related to my complaint. So perhaps, if you file your complaint with your States Attorney Generals Office, and if the other people that have complained here, file their complaint with their Attorney Generals Office; those Attorney Generals can join together in a lawsuit Action against Wells Fargo since they now have the power to enforce State regulations with a National Bank{Cuomo v/s The Clearing House Assc. 557 U.S.____(2009)}. Submit anyway, They will inquire with whom you have filed a complaint. At the least you will be able to add their reply as documentation for interpretation in your case
