I bought a pair of Hunter's from them in November 2010, which arrived in a really battered box. One of the boots also looked a bit worse for wear against the other.

I called the company and was told that the 'worn' look was just 'blooming' which eventually happened to all boots. I responded by reminding them that they were meant to be a brand new pair of boots and, whilst I would accept this if I had them (and worn them) a while I didn't think that these comments were fair or just. I was then told that I would need to take a photograph of them and email this to customer services so that they could determine whether I would get a refund on my postage to send them back?! I was at work at the time and told them this, but was just advised that I would get a refund on the boots if I sent them back, but probably not on my postage. I was also told it could take 3 weeks for me to get my refund because of the 'busy Christmas period'. What a load of old rubbish - it took them seconds to take the amount from my debit card online when purchasing the item!!

The appalling customer service ensured that I sent the boots back using a recorded or signed for service, as I didn't trust the company to confirm they had received them. The cheapest I could get for the weight of the item was Royal Mail's first class Recorded Delivery service, which arrived the next day (I checked online) and cost me almost £9 - it still took them another month to refund my money for the actual boots and, of course, there was no refund for the cost of my return postage.

Truly dreadful company and service in my opinon and would never recommend them to anyone...
