I have recieved a call from Weltman Wine Burg and Reese regarding a collection matter. Its regarding an overdraft bank account that I had with Hunington National Bank, I told them that I believe that this was fraud, I have contacted the bank numerous of times explaining that I will not pay something I didnt cause, this Wine Burg and Reese Telephone 1800-476-7315 number called me and I asked them what this was concerning and they did tell me, I asked them to no longer contact me, I then spoke with a supervisor, cant remember his name, was very rude and abusive, calling me names, saying that oh you just up and quit your job and you are refusing to pay a responsibilty, I told him that he doesnt know my finanical situation and that I didn quit my job, I was laid off, then tells me just because Im out of work, dont mean I am exempt from the law, what? Im not breaking a law. He also states that they are a law firm, I dont believe they are a law firm, they are a bill collector, my friend has also been harassed by this company by telephone, she says they have stopped calling recently. This company needs to be investigated and how they talk to consumers, the supervisor also told me, this isn't customer service, I said no, but just because you are a bill collector, dont mean you can just talk to people how you want, then says I will just mark this account as a refusal to pay and notify the creditor to take legal actions, not much can be done, when you cant get money from someone they dont have, or if they are unemployed. I know their scams and their scare tatics.
