Food Quality & Taste
What happened to Wendy's??? Today I had my worst meals ever in a fast food restaurant... This afternoon I tried some new boneless chicken wings at Orlando airport that were totally disgusting in taste and inacceptable in texture. Well I thought that was just a coincidence. After arrival in Philly I gave them a second chance and ordered a half-pounder plus fries in Malvern. Here it turned out that the beef was bloody-red and the fried utterly disgusting in taste - is it the oil that makes the fries taste like fish?
The last time I had eaten at Wendy's was a couple of years ago - back than Wendy's and Burger King were pretty comparable both quality- and tastewise. Now, I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy...

Food Quality
The food has gone completely downhill ever since Dave Thomas died. The fries are undercooked in a new oil that tastes more like oil and less like potatoes. The burger is loose and tastes frozen. The buns, in addition to having some new gritty stuff stuck to them, are hard and thick and all you can taste. On top of this, their prices keep going up. I used to go about twice a week, but now I don't go at all. They've gone from the best fast food out there to one of the worst.

Wow.
I just went to Wendy's and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a large fry. The fry box was about 1/3 filled and the sandwich was cold and soggy. It cost $6.57 and I'd say I got about $1.50 worth of food. Very annoying.

poor servicre
The manger Ricky Oliver was very disrespectful he was cleaning his car and didn't wash his hand and touch my food.I ask him to wash his hand and he started to hollerd at me.Also the store has many bugs and roaches.

Low quality food
I have worked in the fast food industry all my life. I am the wheel that keeps the engine running, I work for wendys restarants both franchise and corporate and since the new crew mostly hispanic I have seen things that makes me wonder why more people don't get sick ie I pay attention to people who prepare food for the public and I have seen that hand washing - cooking food completly, since I service the equipent that the public cannot see behind the lines I will not eat in my own companies restaurantsnglish where everthing is color coded to make food and I see some of the most grossly acts of food I am talking about from hand washing to removing chicken off the grill not completly cooked. One incident a freezer was done for 24 hours and the manager served food that should have been thrown away. Having mp;oyees that don't understand basic food safety and the equipment is so dirty I know that we need for all who work in these stores to unerdtand basic food safety but at wendys its speed of service at any cost since dave thomas passed I have seen a line that is very disstessing concerning wendys where they say qaulity is our motto this is not true and can be seen by the lack of sales prople trusted the old school now its how many produts can we sell at any cost. I would say that wendys has lost there foucus and if things don't change people will bet sick wenys arbys group will be a restarant of the past unless the consumer is aware of what they are eating and who OS preparing it just kids trying to mske s paycheck the problem is not titally there fault they come from a dirty country and I hate to see a great copany go down from where it a great place for good food now its eat at your own rise.

Awful everything
I had a free coupon that on the purchase of any sandwich chili free. I ordered two Jr. Cheeseburgers and a Frosty and presented the coupon for the small chili. I was told that the Jr. Cheeseburger was not considered a sandwich and that I had to buy a Combo meal. Coupon does not distinguished or define sandwich. The small print reads: "Please present coupon before ordering. Limit one coupon per customer per visit. Not valid with any other offer or combo meal discount. The manager insisted that the coupon was not valid with my purchase and that I had to buy a combo meal. When I told him I was going to report him to corporate he said he didn't care. I was not given a receipt with my purchase and my order was thrown at me. I am a mystery shopper for other companies and this behavior is not acceptable of management. This is a blatant violation of truth in advertising by business code standards. I will be contacting the Attorney General Office of our state and that of the corporate office. In addition I am contacting the media in our area. I have attached copy of the coupon in question.

Wendy's management and
Countryside..Co workers are treated with no respect from management. I am an ex-worker and I've seen and heard alot of the terrible things that go on in these fast food settings. From the supervisor lowering a co worker hours to one day a week with about 4 hours hoping that the co worker would quit their job so that she doesn't have to fire them and then they can't file unemployment. If the co worker doesn't quit then she will not put them on the schedule at all and doesn't tell the co worker. Meanwhile, the co worker believes he/she still has a job until they call in and a manager tells them that they aren't on the schedule.While employed there I have seen this happen to a few people. The supervisor blows smoke in workers faces, yes people she does smoke in Wendy's office and you never know who could be allergic to smoke deadly, therefore she may be putting someone's life in danger. I have called human resources on her because she lowered my hours and gave them to a new worker who is a teen and has no kids, on the otherhand I have two kids and bills to pay, I rarely called off. Calling human resources was basically a waste of time, the supervisor is best friends with her boss so nothing was done about it. I believe I was scammed into losing my job because I had a cheek piercing and worked mostly front register while others making sandwiches and working the drive thru had piercings all over their face, I came in one day to do my job when I was told to take my piercing out which I refused until everyone else was told to do the same. The managers on duty did not proceed to tell the other workers, so I put a bandaid over it and then the managers told me to take it out or go home, so I went home not knowing that the next day when I called the supervisor, she said the managers told her that I quit!!! WTF? Excuse me, never again will I work for Wendy's or another fast food restaurant. This supervisor thinks she's GOD and she can do whatever she wants, there's a manager who makes co workers go out and get her own personal food while on the clock, talks on her cell phone and the company phone all during her shift, not only that she allows her kids, nieces and nephews to roam around on the line while the workers are trying to do their job. Knowone tells anything at this store for the fear of losing their job, or simply because they're illegal aliens (fact). I tell all because I believe in people being treated fairly, there should be cameras posted all around this store, there's so much that goes on that corporate should be aware of..and needless to say..I was granted my unemployment because the action that resulted in my "discharge" was not deliberate or willful due to company policy.

Manager Treats worker like trash.
My name is Stevie W. Rogers. I was visiting family in lock haven. Pa. And i went into this fast food resturant Wendy's . The manager name was Kimberly Jones she was so rude and nasty to her fellow team mates. The poor girl who, she treated like trash in front of everyone her name was Shariel Fonville very pleasent young lady. If this is the way Wendy's does business it's not good business. If someone talk to me like that i would have hit them. Please look into this. Thank you. Mr.Stevie W. Rogers.

Awful, awful, awful
I purchase some fries from your establishment and they had a nasty aftertaste don't know if they didn't change the oil or what. Maybe someone should go around and do a taste test. You use to have some great fries, not anymore sorry!
