Wendy's serves raw chicken! June 15, 2011
uncooked chicken
I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich at the drive thru on June 14, 2011 at approximately 8:05 pm. Luckily, I felt like I needed a bite of it before I took it home to eat it... The chicken was not cooked and it was still pink... I knew it tasted off as soon as I bit into it. Went back thru the drive thru and returned it for a salad. Did not get any apology at all. I will not be going to that Wendy's again!

food
we have gone to wendy's for the last time. the buns are horrible. too thick!! the burger was only luke warm. this is the first time i have ordered a burger in about 7 years. still the same..bad...

Food Poisoning
My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a holiday in the Dominican Republic. When we were returning home my girlfriend Diane had a single cheeseburger with fries at the Wendy's Restaurant at Punta Cana airport. My girlfriend Diane, only ate half the burger because she thought it didn't taste right. 4 hours into the flight my girlfriend developed food poisoning symptoms (stomach cramps, vomiting & diaorrhea). Upon landing at Manchester airport in the UK, Diane ended up in the local hospital, where it was confirmed that she did indeed have food poisoning. The Wendy's at Punta Cana airport was the only place that Diane ate and I didn't during the entire holiday. I did not suffer any effects of food poisoning. Diane ate the suspect burger on the 8th July and is still feeling the effects (today being the 26th). I tried complaining to Wendy's on their website, but unless the restaurant is in the US, Canada or El Salvador you cannot make a complaint.

very dirty with hundreds of flies touching you while you try to eat
i love to go eat at wendy's from time to time especially when they used to have the all you can eat chili on wednesdays way back when...i was thrilled to learn it had returned after a few years but had moved the day to sunday just this past month...i usually eat 2 bowls of the yummy chili even though i could eat more...i went for 2 sundays in a row and was eager to visit the next sunday which couldnt come fast enough for me...well i missed it due to other things that came up so i didnt make it...now i cant wait till the next sunday to go in and enjoy...sunday came and i went in ordered my meal and while waiting for my order noticed flies kept touching me at the counter...they gave me my order and i went to sit down and started to eat when a fly almost flew in my mouth! how gross then more flies started trying to land on my food and touching me on my legs (i had on shorts due to the heat) my face and arms...i grabbed some napkins and started to wave them around shooing the flies after finally getting my first bowl ate i went and asked for a second bowl and also asked for a lid to take it with me due to the fly infestation i didnt want to keep shooing the flies away while i ate...they said you can't take it with you it has to be here and i said well i am not going to sit there and let the flies eat me and my food and asked why are they so bad in here they said they sprayed and sprayed but it was evident it wasnt working the floors were nasty and sticky adding to the problem i wonder what its like behind the counter if its that dirty in the dining area the management was very rude and acted like it was no big deal and acted like i shouldnt be complaining about it since they couldnt help it since the doors are open and shut too much...i had been shopping all day at other places and they didnt have flies and no restaurant i had eaten at the day before had flies that i could see...i left with my second bowl of chili really depressed at how the management had acted... i called the same restaurant a few days before today which is sunday to see if they had remedied the problem so i could come in and enjoy some more chili on chili day but was answered by another manager that they couldnt control them...i asked well what are you gonna do about it hand out fly swatters or something and hung up knowing they were gonna give me a smart aleck answer...so needless to say if they cant fix the problem then they lost me as a customer and i had put the word out to all i know which is quite a few since i have lived here a long long time...i will now inform all my family and friends how awful wendy's has become and fear what i eat from there and will probably not go back unless i learn it has been cleaned and sanitized enough...i havent been to the bathrooms there either and i dont even want to think what kind of condition they are in...most of the employees look like they could be cleaned and sanitized also!

Cleaning practice poor
I ate lunch (well up until I saw the following) in Las Vegas at a Wendy's Restaurant near the intersection of West Charleston and Rainbow Dr on November 20, 2009. As I was eating at about 1:10pm, I happened to watch a member of the crew cleaning tables. With the same rag, this crew member first cleaned the outside top of the trash bins, then cleaned the seats on several chairs, then cleaned the tops of several tables. If someone's garbage touched the top of the trash bin, if someone came to the restaurant with dirty pants, then I was eating off a surface that had been wiped with the same material on the trash bin and the chair seats. I think it is time to re-think where I eat lunch.

soggy buns
I won't eat at Wendy's anymore, because no matter what type of sandwich me and my family order, the buns are always completely soggy and falling apart. It's disgusting. No one wants to eat a burger that's soggy and falling apart. This is the only fast food burger restaurant that this happens. I feel that Wendy's needs to find a new supplier for their buns, because I know that we will not eat there again. I've heard this complaint from other people as well.

Raw Chicken
Last night my fiancee and I went to Wendy's for some (not so fast) fast food. We both ordered Spicy Chicken sandwiches. Unfortunately, about a quarter of the way into my sandwich I noticed an odd texture in my mouth and realized I was eating RAW chicken. I immediately spit the chicken out and looked through my sandwich to find that almost the entire chicken patty was COMPLETELY RAW. I'm on the lookout now for salmonella symptoms, and I pray to God I don't get sick. I've already had stomach cramps and a headache, but I'm hoping these issues are unrelated.
I called the Wendy's corporate office to complain because I'm pretty sure their chicken patties are delivered to the stores pre-cooked (or so they say). I left a message, so we'll see if anyone ever calls me back.

Drive thru missing items
First, they took the order incorrectly. Before I paid I asked for it be repeated and they were missing 3 items. Then when I finally got the food they forgot 2 of my sandwiches. I had to drive all the way back and I called first so the order would be corrected quickly. I made the mistake of taking the food in with me to prove to them that I was missing items and the manager took the order and threw it away. I was just trying to be honest by showing him that it was missing. He them proceeded to take for ever to refill the order. Then when he gave it to me he barely said sorry and when I rechecked the order before I left I was missing 3 orders of fried. Then I had to wait even longer to get them. There was no apology and no effort to make amends by offering me anything for my time and inconvenience. The whole process took an additional 30 minutes. While I waiting for my order there was another man that came in from the drive thru and they gave him his order immediately. He was the same color as the man working the back. I was not. Anyway while I was watching my order and others being made I noticed that about 1/2 of the 8 people behind the counter and handling the food had gloves on. Very poor service!!!

Food issues
Sunday, we went through the drive through at the Soddy Daisy, TN Wendys. We ordered and had to wait for my husbands chicken sandwich. When we got home, we fed the girls and ate our sandwiches. My husband grabbed one of the extra nuggets out of the bag and popped it in his mouth. My girls wanted a few more nuggets so I got the rest of the nuggets out of the bag.

On the top nugget there was something on it. I took the nugget out and there was still a feather sticking out of it, actually baked/ fried into the batter so that it was still hooked to it. I was disgusted! Surely, if the company had the right inspectors/ health policies, someone would have noticed a whole feather sticking out of a chicken nugget! By the time it reached my hand, how many people looked at that nugget and "didn't" realize it?

I have had several bad issues with food lately, and I am so tired of it. It is food that the entire nation is eating and no one wants to do things right and health safe. When will people realize we need to be watchful of what is going on with our food products?

Terrible service!
Has this happened to anyone else at this location? I drove through, ordered a single hamburger and small diet ($4.61 Total). I handed the young gal at the window (blonde with nicely French manicure nails) a $20 bill along with .61 cents specifically so I would receive only bills for change to give to my daughter for lunch money. Another girl (dark hair and lots of make up) quickly pushed my food out the window. I sat there long enough to unwrap my straw and place it in my drink. Then I drove away. About two hours later, having realized my mistake, I called the restaurant. Rachael identified herself as the manager and I gave her my phone number to call me back after she looked into the matter. Later Latasha called me, identifying herself as the manager and said, "I checked registers and they all came out perfect." (How often does that happen in the fast food business?). No offer of compensation. Bad, bad customer service! Just curious if this location has other complaints of the same nature...
