My husband & I just purchased a house so of course our credit report was printed up..we have a random charge from a company called West Bay Aquisitions that was submitted to collections in May 09! We have never purchased anything from them or the company showing with it (National Recovery Agent). This has been on our credit obviously for almost a YEAR without ANY form of contact! Mail, phone, email etc. I searched the BBB website and Nothing came up under Either of those company names! I've tried to call them multiple times but cannot get through. I've found MULITPLE complaints online from people that have had the Same Exact situation happen to them. Coinsidence? I think Not! Someone needs to shut this fraudulant company down as it's clearly messing with innocent people's credits!
