BILLING, SERVICE, WORK DONE
double billed $671.00, day 8 still waiting for the money to be returned to my bank account, 3 teeth bridge became 7 teeth bridge destroying 2 teeth, temporary crown forgotten, bridge promissed me in two weeks is now 4 or more weeks may be, billed $11, 300.00 $ 2001.00 has been taken from my bank account between 6/17/11 & 6/29/11 My bank account, my mouth/smile/ability to chew taken by Western Dental AGAIN!

What truly amazes me is to see that a company like this can still be in business
It does not amaze me what I've read here so far, what truly amazes me is to see that a company like this can still be in business, I've worked at this company for a short period of time and can't imagine seeing myself being a part of such a ripoff 'corporation' their practices, morale and everything else leave a lot to be desired, no ethics, no order, billing and collections is a huge mess in that office, nobody knows what they are doing, don't know how to read accounts, supervisors never take care of problems, it is all a huge scam and the typical politics and clicks, filled with uneducated ex gang members, etc., I'm sure that just about 90% of their so called 'employees' never stepped into a college campus, nor graduated even from high school, it's amazingly toxic and negative being in this nasty environment. I feel for the people who are victims of this ring of idiots and really crooks, as all they do is bill them for something they've already paid for and I still haven't mentioned the huge mess of all the offices, missapplying payments, it happens all day, they apply the wrong payment to another account and so on and so forth, not to mention a so called assistant supervisor told the people on the floor that if the patient has a refund not to let them know and never to discuss any information about their insurance share and what they've paid, I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that, I am desperately looking for another job, with the economy it's the toughest right now, but if you have any questions you can go head and write me, or ask me.

Worst ever
My wife had gum surgery and a root canal done.the crown broke after a week and her trooth still hurt from the surgery, so i called there around ten on a saturday night and the doctor refused to give her any pain medication!he was doctor haviv or watever they call themselves and i told him i was going to report him to the american dental association.were going to do watevers left and cuz we paid 3000 dollars and i highly doubt they will give a any type of refund.i told mu wife not to go there but they gave her a very low price now i see why!

Fraud
Don't be sucked into the Western Dental Plan. They charge you $75.00 just to charge you outrageous rates for denatl work that can be done by any other dentist for less money.

Payments and Corporate office
I would highly recommended that you do your shopping before using theses crooks! I have 2 accounts with them for my children... I am in financial hardship and I am having a little difficulty making ends meet. I asked for a change in my due date due to my payroll bein g changed and they said if I make a payment they can change my account well that is a LIE. Don't believe anything that they tell you it is all false!! Now my daughter's dentist states that they have done my daughter's braces wrong and he is concerned! I wish i would hve shopped around first... Do your homework!

bad experience
went to Western Dental to get my cleanings done and they said I needed to get my 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I thought ok, my husband said when he got his pulled they put him to sleep and he woke up and they were gone, no big deal right? WRONG!!! I tried to call and get information, as how long the procedure would take, recovery time etc, but no one in the office knew because the oral surgeon only came in once a month. I was breastfeeding at the time, and wanted to know what kind of pain medication I would be getting but they said, these are questions you would have to ask him, they wouldnt give me a number but said i would have to go to my appointment. So if I couldnt get them pulled due to medication i couldnt take, i would still have to miss work to ask a question. So when I finally showed up, they said they werent going to put me under, but were gonna numb my mouth and the procedure would take 30-40 minutes for all 4 teeth. They numbed my mouth and left me in a chair for almost an hour, i think the anesthesia wore off because it was the most painful experience of my life. worse than childbirth. I was crying and finally they gave me more shots, The dr seemed annoyed that I kept trying to get a break. An hour and a half later, they had more patients apparently, so I only got 3 teeth pulled. I went for my followup and asked the assistant who led me into the room, when I was supposed to get my first bill, she said it took 1-2 months, I said I would make my first payment after my followup, even though I hadnt received a bill. When I went to go pay, she asked if I wanted to take care of my "late fee $25" I said, even though I hadn't gotten a bill they were still going to charge me a late fee? She nooded and said yes. I told her there was no way I was going to pay a late fee until she agreed to waive it. I paid my entire balance to avoid anymore mix ups with the incompetent staff. I still have 1 tooth to go, and since it was already paid, they were going to call me when they got the dates the surgeon would be in the office. 2 weeks later, after not getting any calls, i finally called and said I havent recieved any information, so she said, thats not good. No apology or anything. Then she gave me the wrong dates. This is by far, the worst experience Ive had with any business. I would not recommend this to anybody, in fact I discourage anyone from using their services

Poor dental care
After agreeing to 1800 dollars worth of dental work and paying down payment of more than 400 dollars; the dentist removed what was left of my upper teeth which I believe were all good. She broke them of then proceeded to remove them by twisting and turning them rather than split them and extract s most dental surgeons would have done. I then had an ill-fitting plate put in my mouth causing me great pain. When I returned two days later, the head dentist jammed the plate in my mouth and told me to live with it. Five days later I returned and was told there was nothing they could do about the ill-fitting plate unless I paid more money. When I iformed thier coporate office of this I was told that was tough, and I needed to pay uyp or go without followup. After investigating the companies record I find they are well known for thier fraud of senior citizens. DON'T LET THEM SCREW YOU.

Bad service
Refused to give me a reciept, over charged me, took 7 months to recieve a partial and it didnt fit right and broke 2 days later stayed in appointments up to 13 hours and not permitted to eat or drink anything just waiting in the dental chair put the crown on a root canal crooked and caused me to lose the tooth and more quoted me one price then charged a different price claimed they would refund almost 4000 and gave me nothing.

They always want to kill or pull the tooth!
It actually does not matter what office it is because I have transfered around when I needed to see a Dentist to find one that is not wanting to ALWAYS have a ROOT CANAL DONE! They always want to kill the tooth or pull it! That is their moto! I think that has been taught all the way down to the receptionist! Dentist are supposed to help SAVE your teeth at every turn. I thought I finally found a Dentist with in Western Dental. But on the last day of treatment the words came out of his mouth okay "now we keep on eye on that tooth we just filled...might need a root canal" WOWOWWWW Leanna

billing issies
Complaint 98594474 - I lost my Job back in 2009 - when I lost it I called all my creditors and worked out payment arrangement with all of them. If I had known that I had a Orthodontist Bill w/ Western Dental I would have paid that first as I still have the braces in my MOUTH. I called Gabby who is the Customer Relations rep and she was like sorry nothing she can do. I attempted to explain to her what happened. still nothing. When I signed that contract I had been in the chair for over 3 hours getting work done and was all drugged up so did i read the contract in detail no, who would have after being in a dentist chair for over 3 hours. Now I have these braces in my mouth and they are shifting and the bands are breaking and there is nothing I can do cause I do not have $1650.00 dollars to pay all at once. I wish I had never went to Western Dental Ever. The service was great but the billing and collections department definitely make you feel like a number! I want to know if anyone else has had this problem I would like to start a class action lawsuit. This is not right and they have shown no compassion at all. Please contact me if anyone else has had this same issue in order for us to band together. I have a attorney and will pursue this even if I loose because I want everyone in the America to know about this uncompassionate company! Never Ever Go to Westen Dental if you have dental Insurance or not!
