In the course or near the end of 2008 I had opened a contract with mtn the phone i required was not available and I had to take a down grade for which I understood so I took a Motorola RAZR2 V8. At the time of opening the contract the consult had requested that i take insurance in case anything happpens to it i rejected it at first but she persuaded me and I accepted. On monday the 5th january 2009 I was robbed by gun point I logged a case and when I went to claim for the insurance I thought I was paying I was sent from pillar to post between the insurance company and mtn due to the fact that the insurance company had recieved incorrect information from mtn. The Mtn consultant sent through my details to the insurance company when I explained to her that the insurance company told of this she had no recollection of this and after a month or two i was handed over to mtn's lawyers for none payment for which i have already made 4 payments of R500 since I had recieved the lawyers letter and from my understanding I am not the only customer who had experienced this type of service and was forced to pay because they say their is nothing they can do.
