Sent it back for replacement 3 months ago
My TV went out where there was only sound and no picture on a weekend when I counldn't contact anyone. I called them 1st thing Monday morning and told them what had happened and they told me that I would have to pay the shipping to send it to them but then they would in turn replace the TV within 15 days of receiving it. I did this which cost me a little over $100.00. They received the TV on March 27, 2009 and I have called repeatedly trying to get my TV back and they just keep telling me they will put in for a status update and to call back in 7-10 business days. I have been calling them back every 7-10 days for the last 3 months and they keep saying there has been no updates. Now the number has been disconnected. I don't know what to do but I want my TV back. I payed almost $700.00 for that TV and then $100.00 more to ship it to you. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have spoken with the manager at the Walmart we purchased the TV from and he is speaking with his superiors about pulling Westinghouse products off the shelves in his store. I am very dissatisfied and infuriated over this. I bought this TV because of it's good name and reputation and now you are proving me wrong. I have been without a TV in my living room for 3 months, what are my children suppose to watch? It is simple, I want my TV back or I want my money back and I will go buy a different brand but one way or another Westinghouse is going to do the right thing because now I am prepared to get a lawyer involved just for the moral issues of right & wrong. I want answers and I want them now, I will not keep waiting. Westinghouse has my property that I bought and paid for and there 15 day promise is up so now they have my property illegally, and I intend to take care of that swiftly if I don't hear something back immediately.
