Scam
I spoke with a so called supervisor here at the company named, Mr Campos, he was too scared to give me his first name! This company repossed my vehicle after missing on 1-2 payments and I had some personal belongings in the vehicle, they threw them out and would not allow any of my family members to come and get them, they are full of ***, I would stay away from them. In the beginning they were all nice and happy to have me as a customer, then they got ***! NEVER USE THEM OR YOU WILL GET BURNED!

Unethical / Harrassment
I bought my car thru Westlake Financial - Oct, 2009. I wish I had seen some of the comments from dissatisfied customers before doing business with this unethical company. In July, 2010, my car was involved in an accident. Now I take full blame for not having full coverage on the car and I advised Westlake as such. I ask for assistance in getting the car fixed. Which they agreed too. I even said I would increase my payments from $400 a month to $600 a month in an attempt to pay them back. Five days later, I received a letter from them stating they had picked up my car from the repair shop and it would be sold in a private auction on a particular date. When I received that letter I assumed they'd retracted on the agreement and did not want to work with me. Now understand, I was not late on my payments nor had I ever missed a payment but I did not pay August or September payment because I had received the letter stating they were selling the car. Since then, I've received calls everyday...all day...on my cell and at work. I have ask them to stop calling my job (to no avail) and have explained to them I would not make another payment since they (in essence) repo'd the car. Since I am a 'Paralegal', I'm investigating what avenues can be taken to stop this harrassment. I have found that you can write the company and advise them to only contact you via letters (as long as your address has not changed or if it does, you notify them of the new address). I am initiating that avenue today (via certified/return receipt letter). I would recommend all who have problems with this company, send their complaints in writing and make sure it is certified/return receipt. If I find out anything additional to do, I will advise all.

Reps are certified idiots
Westlake is the most non-professional company on this planet. The so-called "friendly" customer rep's harass in any given form. This child-like boy named Robert, who does work at Westlake, threatened to take our vehicle away. Although, Robert did not know our situation WE PAID two weeks prior to him blowing up our phones.This company is a scam and will always be! And Robert if your reading this *** YOU! I have a right to speech as much as you have a right to harass.FYI we have always paid our bills on time.

These Company had a bad way to collect the Personnel they had or they don't have a good Education or they are used to deal with I don't even know how to said the right word I never but never had any problem like with this collectors they are very Rude not only with the mens but a woman call my Wife she even treaten my Wife to send the Police these people they think I am ignorance of the Law in these country if we all the people in these blog can get a lawyer an sue them they will understand how treat the Customer .

HARASMENT
I have had a loan with this company for 3 years now and they have never been a nice or respectful company to deal with. i am a single mother of 3 kids. i have always tried to make my payments on time. If i even make the payment 1 day late i am getting phone call every 20 to 30 minutes a day. they never stop calling and they all ask the same thing. where is the vehicle, what is ur address and things like they are sending someone to repo ur vehicle for being one day late. i am so tired of this company. i am almost done paying on this vehicle and they have the nerve to tell me that my $13, 000 that i have already paid on my truck dont mean anything and they are comming to get my vehicle. i have tried everything in the world to be done with this company. i dont know how many times that i have to tell them to stop calling me and my family 30 times a day. i think that some smart lawyer should step up and help us all out. there has to be somthing that they can do about this. they are by no means a nice company. Do not do business with them. if i can help in any way please let me know.

Harassment
I am a current Westlake Financial customer and due to extremely hard times I fell behind 1 payment.
Yes, they have every right to call you and try to collect their money. No, they don't have to care about your personal issues. Yes, they can repo your ride, but...
Can they repeatedly harass someone with several phone calls A DAY? No. Can they call you names and insult you whilst trying to collect? No. Can they harass your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers? No. Can they make threats they aren't legally allowed to follow through with (like putting you in jail)? NO.
Just because someone is having a hard time financially doesn't give these jokers the right to treat them like scum. Learn to treat people with respect while being firm and maybe you'll not have people suing you and posting awful things about your company online.
I contacted an attorney in my state and guess what - LAWSUIT WHAT UP.
Westlake almost got me FIRED because they called my job (doctor's office) SEVERAL times a day, almost everyday. My boss told them to stop calling her business and to deal with me by cell phone. I had talked to a Westlake rep SEVERAL times and told them I was sorry I was late, but I was paying double payments my next due date including any fees and if they had to repo, well then, so be it.
Not only did I get YELLED at, insulted, and bothered by phone calls several times a day, but even just calling to MAKE a payment was painful! The rep "Manuel" refused to take my payment if I didn't give him all my contact numbers. Finally he gave in when I asked if he was REFUSING my money.
An example of their AWESOME customer service: I told them yesterday (as I have everyday for the last week or MORE) I was paying double payments today AFTER noon when I got paid...they called me at 10 AM PST and were demanding payment. I said I couldn't til after noon, like I said. The guy, who refused to give his name, said "IT IS NOON NOW"...uhhh no, in my state it's 10 AM so talk to ya in a couple hours. Thirty minutes later they called my JOB (after repeated requests by me and my boss to not call there, they have THREE cell numbers for my husband and I) and hung up on our receptionist.

Rude and deserve to be shut down
I have been financed with this company since feb of last year. i was doing really good on my payments and was very proud of myself. after june i became a single mother and was having trouble making the full payment on time. so i would call ahead and ask the CSR to help. they allowed me to half my payment when i was having trouble paying. and i paid them whenever the date that i promised to pay. then one day, i called to let them know i would be late and the lady was very rude to me and even hang up on me! i was very shock. then back on march of this year i called because my payment was i think 5 days late already, and i told the lady i have to go to work early today and wont be able to make the payment today but i can the next day. and she told me okay ill call the repo people since you cant pay your car and hang up on me. and everytime i called back they kept hanging on me. i couldnt take it anymore. i tried to trade my car in but sadly the car has no value. and my credit is not that good. they keep bothering me at work and calling my reference number. finally on april i told them to just take the car and they never did. then they calle me on may and i told them the same thing.and i spoke to a "supervisor" and said they would take the car at the end of may. why?? after 3 months? so they finally came today at 4 in the morning to take my car. i went outside and ask the guy why he came at this time? why not during the day or the evening? since ive been tellin rhem to pick it up. the guy look really confused and surprised. he said he was told to repo it and just got it last night. he said he would put a complaint as well. please if anyone can help me do soething with this company it would be really great. i am a single mother and my job is more than 1 hour away and now i dont have a car.

Will not take credit cards for final payment!
So I gave them my credit card # to make a payment and they screwed me up by taking to much so I had my bank take the money back thx wells Fargo! Then they not only will not take my payment by anything other than a non paper trail so I can track it but, they have refused my phone calls and put me on hold and in a circle finally hanging up! W T F ! And keep in mind I only have less than a thousand dollars left and I do have the money to pay off my truck AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT! So I am going to take to my bank tomorrow and see if I can pull a loan through my bank and let the bank handle these MOTHER ***KERS. If I would have know that this company was like this I would have NEVER! bought or had my loan through them! Think twice!, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ... I guess if push comes to shove I'll improve my credit while this whole *** is going on, tell all my friends on all the networking sites I have and maybe cause this joke of a company to go under!.

Obnoxious, Threatening Illegal Aliens
I had the company call me and tell me my payment was late. I was confused because I had sent a payment. The person, who had a heavy hispanic accent, threatened to repossess the car, which is a broken down wreck, by the way. I found out that due to a deposit being late, my check was returned. I asked why they didn't redeposit or call me and tell me it was late and he continued to harass and threaten me. At this point, the payment was still only 2 weeks late. He pretended to get someone on the line that said he would send an order to repossess my car. What a bunch of jerks! Their customer service consists or harrassment and intimidation. This must be one of those companies owed by felons or gang members.

Rude and arrogant service
I called to pay my bill for the auto loan that I so wish wasnt through them!! They told me I was unable to use my checking account because my last check bounced, I said no it cleared, I have my bank statement. He told me I was rude and do not know how to have a conversation with manners, told me to shut up and listen to him, then someone with manners may reply! I told him I am educated and not to speak to me this way! He laughed about it and said then why did your check not clear? When I said I work as a RN in a hospital, hetold me it cant be a very good hospital. This man should be fired! They are literally insane, they may state this is out of Cali in the USA...but, I dont think customer service IS! Odd that they are so incompetent that a year later, they still cant put my correct address in...something tells me, this man hasnt even finished highschool, I know rude children that are much politer than he is!
