Horrible tech & customer service!
My Whirlpool refrigerator froze up so I have a service contract with GE and they referred me to A&E because my refrigerator is a Whirlpool and not a GE appliance. We waited all day for them to come and finally he shows up towards the end of the day. The tech was not pleasant at all and acted like he didn't want to be there. Well I brushed it off thinking he is just tired and it has been a long day for him. He took everything out of my freezer, unscrewed the back panel and took that off, and then took a hair blow dryer and blowed on the coils and then put the panel back on and left. Well I thought that was it okay I guess he knows what he is doing. Two weeks goes by and my refrigerator starts doing the same thing again. I called them and they said they can come out but only between 8 and 5 and then they narrowed it down for me to between 1 and 3. So I called customer service to have them tell the tech to call me 30 to 45 min before he comes out so I can leave work and she said she could not guarantee that and I said he would have to wait till I get there because I have to work and don't get paid when I take off and she said he will not wait. I said What! They didn't fix if before and now I have to wait again! So they called me and I was on the phone with my hub for a brief moment because he is ill and I have to check on him from work so I saw they were calling and I hangup and called right back and they said sorry you didn't answer so we canceled your service call and you will have to reschedule. I was raving mad by then! This so called company needs to be put out of business!
