Fridge not working frpm 30-08-2009. Called service person who attended earlier when the control panel had to be replaced thrice. He checked up and said the compressor was defective and to register the complaint with the call centre at the no.18601804558. I did accordingly on 31-08-2009 and got a complaint no.14713 and a promise of service within 24hrs.However, I had to make several calls before another person came and checked the fridge again and told me the same that the compressor is defective. As the fridge is under 7 year warranty, he said the local franchisee for service, M/s. Hi Tech Engineering, Ramanchira, Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta Dist, Kerala will attend to the same. No action for almost a week, and finally on 08-09-2009 they took the fridge to their workshop. Since then, all my effort to find out what is happening or when I will get the fridge back is not producing any results, as on the phone I get either no answers, or very evasive answers like the technician is on leave, not sure whether parts are available in stock etc. My attempts to get the Branch offices at Cochin and Thiruvanathapuram is not yet sucessful as there is no response to the numbers given in the Hand Book. I am 66years old and is staying alone now with my mother who is 92 years old.
