Used Refrigerator
In December of 2010 we purchased a used refrigerator from QuinMac in Kingston. We were given a 3 month warranty on it. The refrigerator did not cool from after the first week of purchase. The company came out to service the appliance 2 times after numberous calls of complaints. The fridge was tampered with by them and rigged only to work for a couple of days. 2 times our food spoiled. And to this day, the fridge is completly unusable and just sitting there without purpose. This is a very unreliable and thiefing company. We are out 26, ooo JA. And never again will we conduct business nor recommend business to these people.

Avoid dealing with this company
My washing machine spin tub was repair so I call the service center the person came and change the spin tub cap and after few days there was electric short problem occurs while call them the person came and telling that the spin tub is leakage so the motor was burn.
He made the mistake and now he is suggesting me to change the motor for which I have to pay the money. While changing the cap he is not mad the fitting perfectly so this problem came. So I request to company solve this problem by your selves.

does not spin
I purchased a washing machine in june 2010.
The spin on this was so rubbish that i had to spin twice every time.
The washing has always been heavy and i assumed this was because the spin was only 1200.
How wrong i was! Now it sounds like it is going to spin but to no exageration, i am waiting, waiting and waiting. It gets to the point where it's quicker to turn it off and hand wring out the washing.
I phoned whirlpool who told me that i could get this rectified by paying £125.
Needless to say i told them politely where to go.
I will never ever ever buy whirlpool again. I cant afford a new machine either.
Anyone who reads this, please trust me and save yourself the agro and cash. Don't buy if you want problems.

whirlpool refrigerator
I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator on 8-5-08 and since then I have had 5 sevice calls for the same problem. The first service call was Sept.08 for a leak in the sealed system. 2nd service call the repairman did NOTHING saying he did not see a problem. Third call was April09 for water leaking. Fourth problem was for loud banging noise coming from the freezer and now I have been patiently waiting for a repairman to fix the freezer, which is not freezing anything from "Rush appliances" . In the future you can be assured that I will never puchase another Whirlpool product

This is the recent complaint I send to Whilpool India.
Dear All,
My name is Renil John and I have a Whirlpool washing machine bought 2 and half years before, Model:Sensation Deluxe, Model No.10124.
I have faced many technical errors in the above model washing machine since 2 and half years and it seems as you dont have efficient technicians in all Kerala who knows this model well.
I have contacted all the service centers in Kollam Dist., Kerala. I got the same result from all the technicians that "We dont have any idea about this model".
I was little bit surpriced in this matter. If you are not giving enough training to all technicians then why you want to sell these models in Kerala.
If I am wrong, then please give the contact details of skilled technician, who can recognize the problem and repair this.

Refrigerator shelves
Our $1200 refrigerator developed cracks on the shelves two weeks apart. The appliance was 18 months old and out of warranty. We were looking to purchase new shelves and hoped they might give a discount. They did not. This will be the last whirlpool we buy.

Hopeless service n product
It's a hopeless company to deal with. I bought a RO water purifier 2 months back and I have launched atleast 6 complaints, every time some stupid comes and is unable to solve the problem, and in last visit the representative told thAt they will exchange our piece but till now no action have been taken and rather though I received a message that ur call has been closed . The water coming from my purifier is bitter, the purifier is not being filled properly. Kind request to all do not buy any products of whirlpool u might also suffer through the same torture

Dear Whirlpool Corporation,
I'm contacting you to let you know that I am very unhappy with the durability and longevity of your washer "Cabrio Automatic Washer" Model # WTW6300SW1, Ser # CT4072078, purchased new in October 2006 from Lowes Home Improvement. It was first repaired in June 2008 when the electronic control board went out. Happily, your company split the cost of this repair even though the warranty had just ended.
However, within the last 9 months, the washer began making a VERY loud noise during the spin cycle. We called a repairman ($60.00 out of pocket) and were advised that the main bearing was bad and the estimated cost of repair was going to be around $450.00. This over half the cost of the washer when we purchased it. This is entirely unacceptable and I expected more from this unit when I purchased it. This unit replaced a Kenmore that had run for over 20 years with not a single repair. Again, I expected this Whirlpool to perform just as long as the Kenmore it replaced. I will not be repairing this washing machine, but will be replacing it with something other than a Whirlpool.
I cannot know if you have had other complaints, but be assured that I will advise my friends and family members not to purchase this brand.
