Cabrio Washer
I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer 31/2 yrs ago. A year ago I had to replace the digital display board- which Whirlpool paid $450.00 after a lot of complaining to customer service (It was out of warranty). Now a year later we found that the washer was leaking and damaged my laminate flooring. now we are looking at a new repair cost and flooring replacement.
So many people are having issues with the Cabrio I wish they would recall the washer. This washer is not made with quality. It breaks in a very short time and is extremely loud during the spin cycle. My clothes are twisted, wrinkled and torn!!! Do not buy the Cabrio- You are buying a big problem for $1000.00

A week later even tho I paid the hard earned money, no goods was delivered
I live in edgemead, and a very sales person came to me, very nicely dressed with a whirpool shirt on and told me he is selling the new whirpool microsteamerconvection oven all in one, he had a demo model in his bakkie.

He said I must pay R2000 dep and he will then deliver the item, as I was going to buy a Miele steamer the following week, I thought it was a bargain.

But a week later even tho I paid the hard earned money, no goods was delivered.

Support very poor
i made a complaint on 23-8-10. more than 15 days have passed and the washing
machine has not got repaired. last time they took two months to repair. my

dryer not heating
I have purchased all of my appliances from Sears . I purchased a service agreement for my dryer. When my dryer would no longer heat I called Sears repair. This was about September 4 2010. I was given a date of September 13 1-5. I received a phone call September 10 2010 saying my appointment would be rescheduled. I spoke with Anne # 0166 who could not tell me why appointment was rescheduled but said earliest would now be September 21 2010. Her superviser Lare would not speak to me. To think my husband and I was considering spending 1800 for a new dryer from Sears . We will never purchase a Sears appliance again. I will continue to post and tell everyone Sears poor customer service. Sears level of repair customer service definitely has changed for the worse. I am thinking of obtaining an attorney to get my money back for the service agreement. I guess I will have to purchase new dryer from Best Buy or somewher else definitely not Sears. I will let family members who are landlords with multiple properties know too.

A very aggressive, rude and bitter somebody answered the phone
I called in at Whirlpool looking for one of the sales consultants, and to my surprise a very aggresive, rude and bitter somebody answered the phone(switchboard) what a disgrace doesnt even ask if u mind holding where is her telephone ettiqutte i work in a call centre and this behaviour is unacceptable shame on u there is people out there that needs jobs why dont u go sit at home and work on ur mothers nerves and get some manners!!!

Customer Service
I spent over $1800 on a Whirlpool Gold side by side refrigerator/freezer over a month ago. It was delivered with far less shelving than the space in the unit required and I spent over $125 to purchase and additional glass shelf for the freezer and a large shelf for the inside door of the refrigerator. I thought this was agregious to begin with, but wanted to optimize the use of the appliance and spent the money anyway,
I ordered the parts with the assistance of custome service. The refrigerator part was not the right one and I spent almost an hour on the phone with customer service looking at diagrams online to determine the correct part I needed. They supposedly credited my account for the wrong part that was sent yet I have never received any confirmation and charged me $40.84 for the "correct part" on 8/7. I finally got the part 2 weeks later and again it is wrong. I just spent 15 minutes getting through to a supervisor in customer service ( Jennifer) and another 30 minutes on the phone with her to inform me that neither part that was sent to me were parts associated with my model of refrigerator. I finally pulled out the shelf and read the correct part number from the bottom of the existing shelf that I need TWO of instead of the ONE that the refrigerator came with, and was again told that this part is not even listed on the list of parts for my model number...but she would sh
ip it to me anyway for a cost of $42. When I stated that she should just send me the part at no charge because of the aggravation that I have experienced; she declined. This is now going to take another 2 weeks to get to me so all in all...I will have spent 6 weeks attempting to get my refrigerator configured in a way that it should have arrived from the store originally - assuming that they get the right part to me this time. The first part they sent was a different part number than what was listed on the box...it would not surprise me if something like this happens again.
Not only does
Whirlpool's Custoner Service do anything but provide customer service, but their reference materials are all wrong, etc.

I will not be recommending their products or company in the future and will be selecting a different range, microwave and dishwasher when I have to replace these applicance in the near future.

The response I have got from the company is highly depressing & against the name, fame & trust of the company
My Whirlpool double door fridge stopped workg on 13th june. A technician reported(on 14th june) that its compressor has failed, so he took the advance money for its repairing.The compressor is in the warrenty period. Now according to the technician, my fridge will get repaired in 4 days, yet till date ( 6th july) there wasnt any effort made from their end. Each time I call them up, their reply is that the compressor is not in stock above a month( in a city like patna), we have given the requisition & hence itl come within 2-3 days. Since Im a working women, Im facing preety difficulty without a fridge. I feel since the compressor is within the warrenty period, they arnt ready to repair it. The responce Iv got from the company is highly depressing & against the name, fame & trust of the company.

I dont think that whirlpool is a poor company that it cant manufacture compressors or it takes more than a montyh to manufacture a compressor.

Low cooling from the day of purchase
Low cooling from the day of purchase. I have registered a complaint No.LKO510014829 with custumer care on 30th may 2010 at about 04 PM. but no body has come after repeated and regular reminders till date. The dealer M/S Sant Electronics, Anta Road, Shahjahanpur (U.P.) is also not paying any attention after my repeated requests. The similar reply after every reminder from Shri Ashok ji Manager of dealer & Customer Care agents "kal aapka refrigerator jarror thik karwa diya jayega hamne service department ko urgent reminder send kar diya hai" we are get bore by listening this assurance.

The refrigerator started giving cooling problem, because of compressor problem, as told by company people. The problem was mentioned to company. the person came and dod some minor adjustment only, He told that regrigeratoy, which is under warranty period may have to be replaced and asked for 2300 Rs for that. This is ridiculous. Now the refrigerator has stopped functioning at all. This is due to faulty ompress but company is asking 400 Rs for even comig to my house. This is CRM this company is managing. The company is requested to repair or repalce the faulty part immediately.
