I have purchased the 7 and the last of my Whirlpool appliance
I have a smooth top range that has enamel edges. On two different occassions I have dropped a LIGHT ceramic salt shaker on the edge and chunks of the enamal have chipped out. I was told this is not covered under warranty because its considered "use and wear"! Tell me why the enamal on a stove top range that gets heavy pots and pans used on it EVERY day cannot hold up to something as light as a salt shaker being dropped on it??? I have purchased the 7 and the last of my Whirlpool appliance!

Awful after sale department
I like to make complain against of your after sales /support department, we are here settle in the UK and back home we have your fancy 450 Ltr Fridge (that never worked woth 100%) in Allahabad since Last year my old mum and dad are calling your after sales and support people but still no one reach to see your faulty fancy unit and no one bother to come single time for service, and your customer service number never work too from UK, I am very sorry to say that this type attitude from Whirlpool is not expected as well as not acceptable at all … could you please take this issue with your top priority and solve this issue ASAP otherwise I am force to go Consumer court as well as press against of your customer service and product.

There are many defects in the refrigerator
The purchased refrigetor from spencers is not good. There are many defects in the refrigerator like it has a slope at one side i e left side and the door of the refrigerator gets closed were fastly whereever we open it. The model that they have given us is defective piece and i have been approaching MD. Taher from past 20-25 days but the officer who is supervisor for spencors says will be sending the representative of WHIRLPOOL and the representative who approached us was not able to find solution instead he directed me to some other senior of WHIRLPOOL who was also helpless and was saying to replace it with other model and when i went again to spencars located in hyderabad at golconda x road stating the officer (MD. Taher 27632692/94/96 extn 240) told to replace the refrigerator he was not agreeing and was saying do wat ever u want and gave an other officers name and mobile no Raj 9948116114 but all in vain I had to waste nearly Rs.500 as an expenses on the issue which never resolved hope this time you people will be helping me and i really need a help from you.

Bad service
My refrigerator is not working. Even 36 hrs after lodging a complaint with the company call centre (at New Delhi) there has not been any service engineer to attend to the complain. The company call centre says it's going to take "24 working hours" for any one to attend to the complain. Does the company sleep for 16 hours every day???!!!

Refund of Money--URGENT
Sir, It is very sad to inform that after my repeated requests on cc centre chandigarh my problem is not rectified.I have washing machine of top loading 5.5 kg 2000 model. It is under AMC for last 5 years since its warranty period had expired. It was done through your authorised service centre. Now for last year we had shifted to chandigarh and my w.machine went dysfunctional. I had shown it to our chandigarh cc care and they repaired the washing machine and took Rs 720/- by saying that my AMC is either expired or untracable. Later, on extensive search it was found that my AMC will be expired on 10.09.10. I called at ur cc centre and my problem is not rectified yet even after 1 month. I had paid Rs 3299/- on 23.08.08 through service person MR AZHAR Rohini service centre, with cheque- SBI saraswati vihar, Delhi, no. 394030 at 7.00 pm. This AMC was for 2 years with service request no. 18846 0n that day. Please look into matter and return Rs 720/ at an earliest . The no. of AMC is HP01 241525 AND THIS IS EXTENDED TILL 10.09.10.mY REPAIR JOB NO. 852 ON 4.2.10.Pl. scrutinise the matter at an earliest.

reg;change of ac compressar
i have given my outdoor unit of ac for the change of new compressor instead of old due to the fail our of compressor.But since last 15 days the service center people escaping from installation of outdoor unit stating that they won't have stocks of new compressor .
As we r suffering a lot, i request you to look into this matter and do me the best service as early as possible or in a couple of days.

Side by Side Refrigerator
I purchased a new Whirlpool side by side refrigerator at Lowe's in July of 04 for around $1000. In March of 09 it quit working. I called for repair, thinking it was the compressor, which was still under warranty. The repairman from A&E said it was only a relay, but it cost me $300 for the service call and an additional 1 year warranty. In Mid March of 2010, my ice maker started producing less ice. I had the freezer really full, so I moved some stuff out of it to a chest freezer. I also turned the the temperature a little cooler. I watched it for a few days, timing the cycles, and it seemed to be working, but maybe not as well as I had thought it used to. Well, the first week in April it quit completely. I called A&E, and explained my whole process of trying everything in the manual before calling them. Sorry sir, but the warranty you purchased expired(one week prior). We can send someone out to diagnose it, for $65, plus the cost to repair it and parts. Well, I live in a very small town, and I knew the repairman only lives 3 houses from me. I went to talk to him, and he wouldn't help me a bit. So much for neighbors, huh? Anyway, I found a troubleshooting site on the net, determined I needed a new ice maker, and ordered one on the net. With 2 day shipping it is $55.00. It is a 15 minute install. Never again Whirlpool or A&E

Lemon wash machine
We bought this wash machine in March of 08. In August of 09 it quite working completely so I called the company and after 4 service calls they "fixed" it. However, it never would spin the water completely out of the clothes and here we are in April and it will not even operate again!! They are willing to send someone out again but we have to pay the labor. Btw - the first service guy we hired said he has never seen a machine this bad and wouldn't work on it. At what point do they admit something is a lemon and provide a new machine!!!

washer
Have been having trouble with our Whirlpool washer for almost 2 yrs. Practically from day one. Have had servicemen from Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, work on washer and sometimes only give advise. One of the servicemen finally showed us how to reboot unit. Sometimes it takes several times to get it up and working. Whirlpool did extend the warranty once, since the problem had not been resolved.

Following is my email to Whirlpool and their returned comments:
We purchased a Motor Home June 25 2008 and began having problems with our washer soon after purchase, stopping during spin cycle. About the 3rd service call the repair man explained how to reboot the machine. We had machine serviced under warranty in Minden NV, Island Park ID, and Phoenix AZ. Warranty was extended once. We are still experiencing the same problem. It would seem only reasonable that the machine should be replaced after this much aggravation. Not only will it not be replaced, but warranty has been terminated. This after repairs have been to no avail. Very disappointed in product and your company.

To my knowledge, all serviceable parts have been replaced. I cannot see any value in your offer, especially after 8+ service calls. I don't believe my spending time and money on another service call would be to any avail. I will however post on several RV forums your past service and new offer.

Thank you for your reply. We apologize that we have not been able to fully meet your expectations.

My response:
I don't believe you have met your obligations, I assumed I was purchasing a product that would work.
