Poor Design
I recently purchase a high efficiencty Whhirlpool Washer over the internet. I was not fully apraised of the operation and I am very unhappy with it.

It is not possible to determine how much water the machine uses. For this reason it is impossible to correctly apportion the correct quantites of soap, bleach, or other additives. It is even impossible to determine how much water the machine adds during any time of the operation.

My liquid soap cup can not be washed out with washer water because the lid locks and hence it runs down the side of the soap container.

I wish I had been informed of this before I purchased, and well, I wish that I never purchased it at all.

As anyone knows it is impossible to discuss this with Whirlpool. But maybe there is nothing they could do anyway.

I own a fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine. I have taken the whirlpool home care plan for the maintenance of this appliance for 24 months from 10/11/2008 by paying Rs 4000/-(Application Receipt No 129504. The following complaints are registered for your immediate attention.
1)Whenever there is a complaint to the machine, the agents take a long time to attend to the complaint.. resulting in nonavailability of the appliance for use inspite of the maintenance contract.
2) Even after attending to the maintenance, the appliance again shows some part of the old complaint with some others again resulting non availabilty of the machine.
3) After two to three attendance at home for the maintenance, they require to take it to their workshop and they charge big sums for conveyance.
4) Recently, from three months back, the complaint of non storage of water during working of the machine was noticed and complaint registered. Even though they attended (though belatedly, every time, ) the same complaint is repeated after a short time of one or two days after repair. Still, the same complaint along with beep sounds and non working of rinse, spin etc are continuing, they told us that the machine is to be taken to their workshop. even after four to five days of this report they did not turn up to take the machine. Then due to the urgent needs for the appliance, we transported it to their workshop on 11/9/2010. they promised to deliver it back on 14/9/2010.On contacting on 15/9/2010 they promised to deliver it on 16/9/2010. Again on 16/9/10 they postponed it to 17/9/2010 morning. On 17/9/2010 again on contacting them, it was informed that they will tell the position after 4'o'clock. But there was no information at 4'o'clock or later.Next day, again they were contacted and I was requested to contact the workshop supervisor on his mobile after 12 o' clock . On trying to contact his mobile no, several times, the call was not attended by him. Finally, I reached the service centre driving my car 10 km from my house at Mannanthala at 4.30 pm, and enquired about it they have raised the adamant stand that as they have lot of customers, what they could do is to give the mobile no of the workshop supervisor. Again they have postponed the delivery by two more days.the appliance is not ready till date of this complaint(19/9/2010)
We are cheated by the promises made by the home care plans to the keep the appliance in working condition for a duration of 24 months. During the above period we have been continuously cheated by purposefully prolonging the service time and not properly repairing it each time, most of the time we were left without the services of the appliance. Also after owning the appliance and the home care plan, in addition to doing the washing manually, we had to go behind the hassles of continued reporting complaints, going behind these service persons, hearing their retorts, trying repeatedly the unattended mobile nos, etc in our busy schedule of life. The very purpose of having a home care plan is defeated.

not taking watewr
We bought a F65 washing machine on 31-05-2008. Machine is working, but unable to take in water to the tub.So please rectify the defect at the earliest.

Sears
I have been waiting over one month to have my washing machine serviced. Wrong parts were ordered, 2 technicians cancelled service appointments, will not schedule appointment any earlier that 2 weeks out, are not cooperative and are liars. This is my fourth serious issue with Sears. This company should not be able to be in business, and at the very least should not be able to represent themselves with good customer service.

The company is not cooperative and would not let me speak to anyone else that may have more authority.

this is just to bring into your kind attention about the pathetic AMC service provided by the co.
I have a semi autometic washing machine and have a comprehensive AMC policy.
when I was called up by your exucative to take the amc, I was told, If I take this Comprehencive Amc policy, it covers the entire machine as insurance.
Now, whenever I call for any problem, your engineer comes and after verifying, the first thing they say that the particular parts which is damaged is not covered. then again I nedd call up different persons and then the part is covered . why so? recently I made a complaint ( no dl1109003571). It was complaint of spin tub break shoe. agiain, the engineer told that this not covered, then after negotiation he agreed to do but told only I have to pay for the break shoe which cost around Rs 50. my question is why I have to pay when my AMC covers the entire machine and more of all nowhere in the policy it is mentioned that 'these...these .. particular parts exclude the policy'. the amount could be even Re 1 but why they ask money.
however he did not attend my complaint and it was closed without being solved.

NO RESPONSE AFTER MY COMPLAIN
My washing machine is under warranty period & I had complained regarding my washing machine on 01 Oct 2009 vide my telephone no.26386851 but till date my complain is not resolved. In this connection I contacted customer care a number of times but it was useless and hence this email to you.<br />

Pls note I had contacted Mr Saroj, Whirlpool Kolkata office employee, a number of times but his commitment was not fulfilled any time. <br />
Pls note I have written a number of times regarding my earler complains but I have not received any reply. Is this the quality of service from WHIRLPOOL.

detergent dispensor broken by the engineer
i am highly dissapointed withe services of the company.i have been having problem since july and i again registered complaint on 16sep09 with the complaint no LK0909004189, i have been continously reminding about the complaint and everytime i was being told that it will be done in a weeks time but today ie 21oct99 when i called up in customer care services i was told by your representative that my complaint has been closed without taking any action and i have to again register the complaint.when i asked the representative Ms Seema Yadav to let me talk to some senior officer their she refused to do that and when i asked her to give the CEO's contact number or mail address she asked me to register a fresh complaint and she was quite adamant about it.now i want to know when damage has been done by your companies engineer then am i responsible for it and why my complaint has been closed without my knowledge?secondly why i am being harassed just because i have purchased your company's product.such a reputed company has really dissapointed me.i would like that managing director Mr Arvind Uppal to take some action in my case.i am a war widow of an army officer and i expect from your company to help me out in this case.thanking you

POOR SERVICE
Dear Sir,

I am an Army officer posted in Ahmednagar.I have a semi automatic wirlpool machine bought in 2004.
My machine developed a problem in the month ofJul.I had send my machine to RAM Agency, market yard in Ahmednagar . I was told that the drive moter is not working and it has top be changed and the new one will cost rs18000. I got it changed on 7 july but on receiving the machine i found it was not working properly I called up the agency 3-4 times then they sent a mechanic who found that the same moter was not working.He went back and the moter was changed. The machine was still making a noice we reported and the same machanic was sent again he said he has rectified the defect but when we used it we found that the defect was not rectified.

After waiting for the machanic to come back again we took the machine to agengy on 21 aug 09.Firstly the owner was very rude when we reported that there service was very poor and when we got the machine checked in front of us it was found that the same drive moter was not working and we were told that the spin moter will also be changed annd we paid rs 1600 more.

My complain is that the behaviour of the two brothers in the shop was very rude .Secondly the same moter was changed thrice .No service was done to the machine ther was dust in the machine when we took it to the shop and showed the same to the shopkeeper.Thirdly i had to pay rs 3400 wheresa a new machine through CSD costs rs 5500.The dealer refused to give any waranty.We have been using the machine for five years there has never been a problem but thuis time I has really harassed by this agency.

My bill no are 2201 dt 26 aug 09 for rs 1600 and 1704 dt 7 jul 09 for rs 1800.

I would request you to please advice the agency to be more polite and sincere in there work.

poor service
Dear Sir
we bought a washing machine (model : whitemagic Pro XL 800h) on 31 march 2009. the performance of the machine has been astonished us, as it worked for only hardly 5 months from the date of purchase. we lodged a complaint on 26.08.2009, for which your service person has inspected and changed a display part for the brand new machine and confirmed us that the problem has been rectified, but the problem was not solved. Nearly for 15 days we are waiting for your service end to rectify the problem. After contacting several times we are fed up and we finally registering the complaint thro' this email.
