I have purchased a 180L Royal Genius fridge from Whirlpool agency Visakhapatnam on Nov 07. The same get non operational in the month of Mar 09 just after one year six month. I lodged the complain to whirlpool agency. Their service engineer said compressor is faulty. They charged around Rs.850/- for transportation, and etc. Recipt is with me. Again the same became non operation in Jul 09. I lodged complain on 06 Jul 09 and complain no. is 001915. Service engineer visited at my house and said that due to improper welding gas has been leaked out. They took the fridge to their workshop and repaired. And asking Rs.1400/-. Now my question if the gas has been leaked out due to improper welding whose fault? Why I should pay.
In this regard i called to customer care and requested them to complain my this problem, but they refused to do so.
At Kochi, Senior executive Mr. Mahesh has been also informed on 14 Jul 09. But yet I didn, t get any reply. It is my kind request please short out my problem. or What company's view in this regard. accordingly i will do what next I have to do. Yet my fidge has completed even two years and I am not going to pay any more. If they want to keep my fridge they can keep with them.
