Loud vibrating, crusty white spots
I purchased a Whirlpool fridge model#ETICHEXVTD June 2, 2009) freezer on top. A week later there was a loud noise when the fridge came on, later on it was a loud vibrating noise. There is a white crusty film over the bottom of the freezer and when the freezer door is opened the white stuff drips on the floor, there is also white crusty deposits close to the rubber gasket on the fridge door.
The repairman called Whirlpool and they in return called me suggesting I take the fridge back and get another one. The repairman told me he'd been out servicing 3 Whirlpool's exactly like mine, same model for the same problem. I asked him what the best brand is and he said the Samsungs are probably the best. I had a G.E. for 22 years without a problem, wish I had it back!
I've purchased Whirlpool washers and dryers for the past 20 years without a problem! What is wrong with all the Refrigerator's?!! I don't know what to do, I know the replacement will not last, guess I'd better spend $99.00 and get an extended warranty!!!

New refrigerator not working since acquired

Dear sir/Madam,
I am an absolutely disgusted customer of Whirlpool India.I had purchased one refrigerator:310ltrs.Modelno.Elite(Inox), S.no.9007 from "Multi Channel Electronics Pvt. Ltd.", 101A/2 Raja Subodh Chandra Mullick Road, Garia, Kolkata-47, Ph.no.2430-8951 on 08.11.2007.My cash receipt no.being 222.
1)When it was delivered, I noticed cracks in the fruits and multi use boxes.On that day the dealer told me that it will be replaced within a week.However, no action was taken inspite of repititive reminders.Then, I launched the complain regarding the above matter twice with whirpool ( complaint nos.being 0961 dtd.05.01.08 and 5633 dtd. 20.02.08.But then also the result was fruitless.Finally, with a complaint letter I got it replaced on 10.04.08.
2)Again after 8 months new problem started, the refrigerator has lost its cooling effect. I lodged a complain on 28.01.09;the complain no. being 8217. The servicemen came on 30.01.09 and adjusted the airflow control knob and assured it will work properly now.
3)But after few hours there was no difference, then we again lodged a complain: the no. being 3937 dtd. 30.01.09. After repetitive reminders, the servicemen came on 16.02.09, did some cleaning and told to keep the fridge under observation and closed the case without any intimation.
4) Again we lodged a complain; the no.being 1285 dtd.05.05.09.The servicemen came and said the system's gas line is choked, we have to take this to service centre and refill the gas.He took the refrigerator on 11.05.09 and after keeping the same under observation returned it on 18.05.09 and assured it will work properly.But, after few hours the same problem started again.
5) We talked on above matter to Branch Manager: Mr.Kalyan (9231023491) & sales manager Mr.Soni (033-22829696).He is saying we will replace the fridge but you need to bear the 15% depreciation charges+500/-(transportation charges). I don't understand since the day I acquired the machine there is some problem or the other.I have paid service charges always and also the gas refilling charges 1000/- last month itself. Then what type of depreciation Mr.Kalyanji is talking of. If the servicemen after coming repetitively are not that much capable of to identify the main cause of the problem, then for what they are being kept in the company.They should understand that they are the brand ambassadors of the company and there performance is the value addition to the goodwill of the company.What type of contribution they are making to the company?
I purchased the whirpool product because I had heard that its service is very prompt but till date no such rewarding service has been shown to me.
I would request you to kindly solve my problem at the earliest otherwise I will be enforced to take further sturdy steps.

warranty does not cover for Compressor
i have purchase Refrigerato from Whirpool india Ltd 3 years ago and now its compressor does not working in totality,i made complaint for the same ,Whirpool techniocian came and saying that compressor should be replaced and it cost ofr Rs 1100/-.
It means there is no Warranty for the Refrigerator
pl do the needful & oblige
