I ordered a teeth whitener kit for $4.99 from them, and noticed about two weeks later that they had taken $88.97 from my bank account. I called and was referred to an e-mail address for customer service. They refused the refund because in their "I accept" box it stated I had 15 days to cancel. I just checked the box, didn't read it. I went around and around with them.

They sent me a copy of their policy, stating I had 15 days from shipment to get a refund of the $88.97 by requesting a RMA number - return merchandise authorization number. Then I could return it for a full refund. The same day, I got the whitening kit I had been charged for. I sent the first e-mail requesting my RMA number and they acknowledged that request and asked me to give them 48 hours to get back to me. I waited 48 hours, and sent another request. I never heard back from them again. I requested a RMA every 48 hours until my 15 days were up.

THEN, and I urge every one to do this, I wrote what they did and didn't do, with copies of all my e-mails and sent it to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Iowa State Attorney General Consumer Affairs Department.

The BBB went right to work and got me a refund within a few days. The company said it was my fault for not reading the policy, and my rebuttal to them was they needed to read their own policy.

You will need to fill out a form for the BBB, which you will copy and paste the information you have gathered, i.e. e-mails, dates, etc.

The Federal Trade Commission, I called to complain. The number is 877-382-4357 ( 877-FTC-HELP). They took my complaint over the phone and told me to file it with WWW.IC3.gov. Once again, you will fill out a form and there is a place to copy your written information.

The BBB has the WhiteningBrites listed as PearlyBrites, but it is the same company with the same address. The address for WhiteningBrites is: 263 W. Olive Ave #130. Burbank, CA 91502

I hope others will complain to these over seers of the public welfare. I am sick of scams and this is a huge one. Good Luck.

I ordered a free trial and was told i would be charged shipping and handling only, which I was told was $4.95. When I received my card statement I was charged $88.97. I requested that this amount be refunded to my account and I was told they would not refund any money and that I am unable to return item. Customer service representative very rude.

Just received another dental whitening kit. I called and they refused to take it back. I just went through this and they did it again. I had to pay twice for junk. I can't send it back in time. They gave me a week to get an rma and send it to then including mail time. Impossible. SCAM. Shut them down.

Received email to get crest teeth whiting from crest for $4.99 shipping charges suppose to be a trial, however, when i received the product it was from whiteningbrites, then I get an $88.97 because supposely i did not cancel within 15 days. I have not received any products and they refuse to refund my money.
