received pop up for internet securtity software that appeared to be official thru our computer provider, Sadly downloaded it and found out it gave the computer a VIRUS. Target credit card shut down my card because it had received complaints of FRAUD on this company. We had to pay another 50 dollars to HP to repair the virus issue. Not only did we receive a virus but we unknowingly paid to have it put into the system. Then had to pay again to have it removed.

I purchased software to repair a computer and received nothing. The cost was $69.95 and now I can't get anything on the computer but their site, which doesn't do anything.

My computer had the same thing popping up too. It would not go away. Yes, I too was scammed by this. The cost was 49.95. I looked at my bank account, and come to find out they charged me 99.85. This company is a fraud.
Wideworldsoft, you are a fradulent company. Don't you have anything better to do, then to steal from honest people. Now, i'm trying to get my money back with my bank. Don't be scammed by this company.

This showed up on my computer screen on Feb. 25, 2010 with alert of virus infection and offer to buy program to clean problem...couldn't do ANYTHING to my computer...wouldn't even shut off, was forced to buy product on my credit card and amount of 76.35$ was taken from my visa card wich was more than the 19.95$+9.95$ as indicated on promotion.
It's a scam!...I got an icon as tool and nothing in it and my computer has been working badly and acting up since even after an anti-virus cleaning of over 9 hrs was done! I filled in the 30 days money back garenty on their section andnoting was given back. I haven't been able to contact the 800 phone number, email or any thing!

While using my computer yesterday, a software installed itself and since then i was receiving pop up messages advising me that my security license expired. I di not pay too much attention to this and ended my session at the end of the day. Today when I tried to switch on my computer, this pop up appeared once more but this time I was not able to use any other application and I had no choice else to purchase a 1 year license at USD 59.95. Just after processing the payment, I receive a message telling me that the payment has not been processed. Thanks God I did not try to purchase it with another credit card and had my dinner. And what a surprise... I received a SMS from my bank telling me that I did a purchase for the same amount to WIDEWORLDSOFT, BAKU. Of course, I automatically understood that i had been scamed. And I can see I am not the only one...it is a shame and I am really upset about this kind of things. I would suggest all of us to communicate between each other about how we are managing the claims and the feedback received from our respective claims.
