fraud payday loan scams
I was again contacted by some middle eastern person who left a message stating I needed to have my attorney call them back immediately, however if you try to call the originating number you can't get through. I tried again and got through this morning tactic is the same they get you on the phone want you to confirm the last 4 digits of your SS # which I would NOT DO and they start talking as fast and incoherent as possible. I kept interrupting him wanting the company name, which I found interesting this time it was a law firm by the name of Wilcox and Wilcox of San Diego, last time it was Williams Law and by reverse phone look up they are located in California City, California which I believe is near Sacramento. The man with the heavy accent from who knows what country he is from got so frustrated during the call he finally hung up on me because I was asking for to much information. I wanted the name of the person who filed the lawsuit against me but he couldn't give me anything, so he became angry and hung up. I have been called by them many times before and have ignored them, they can't provide any legal papers or information and the minute you ask who they are with or the name of there company they beat around the bush and the information is not truthful. I have blocked the numbers they have used to call my phone but they are still able to leave messages. I have reported them to the FTC and to my local police as well as the credit reporting sites, these people are hoping they can find a cash cow to pay because of the fear and scare tactics they impose via the phone. I see several people were called yesterday they have used 1-760-514-0139 and 0000. The thing that is they have your personal information and how have they obtained that?????
