This company has done nothing but LIED, LIED, LIED!!! There are numerous errors. In a 6 week span of time, I had ordered Wild Blue service, they took my initial $142.00 and we scheduled an install. I asked them to call my cellular phone number and they would repeat it and said they would call my cell, but instead they called my residential phone when I wasn't home. I got 4 to 5 different install times. Then after install, I noticed that my speed was not any faster than I had with a local company named Commspeed. Then I was told that there were different tiers, of course, supposed more speed, the more costly. After ordering the higher speed, it still would not work, so a service person had to come out, which took another week as I was going on vacation. Then later in the day after increasing the speed, I was told I had to sign a contract ELECTRONICALLY!! I didn't and refused right then and there after being told after a time of usage, my speed would DECREASE! And I am paying MORE! Does that make sense? I argued for 2 more weeks that since there was NO binding contract (I had refused to sign), I would not be billed for ANY charges!! WRONG! 10 days later I was billed for a month's service and now after 10 days, I still have no REFUND as they lied to me again last week. I documented EVERY person I have spoken with at Wild Blue and get told this line, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!! I am getting ready to notify a few news channels in the Phoenix Metro area and have them do an expose on Wild Blue as I am tired of being "inconvenienced". My blood pressure went through the roof last week to where I had to go to the ER because of this stress. Last Tuesday, 4/20/2010, I was told I was being issued a refund, given a confirmation number and found out today since I had not received my refund, that the person I talked to last week (Jonathan) made a mistake and issued me the wrong number as well as did not put in for the refund. Today, I am told after 40 minutes of hold and transfers that SARA (who supposedly is in CORPORATE) has issued this refund but again, I might have to wait another 3 to 5 business days. This is FRAUD! They can't keep my money and by golly, I will find out how to sue them.
