Unauthorized charges
I should have listened to my wife and ordered the camera from amazon.com but I thought I was getting a real deal. I ordered a Sony A350k for $479 with free shipping from wilddigital.com it never arrived so I called wilddigital to let them know and the guy with the New York accent cursed me from one end to the other and hung up on me for no good reason...all I done was ask him what to do next? I was shocked! So then I composed myself and called my credit card company to let them know what just happened and I come to find out from them that wilddigital charged me $900 instead of the $479. That was yet another shocker!!
So the good news is my credit card company seems to be handling it for me. The other news is I went ahead and bit the bullet and done what I should have done in the first place and that is to order the A350k from Amazon.com.
(Point is; wilddigital.com is a huge ripoff...so BEWARE!!!)

Bad service
I found this site from www.ShopCartUSA.com, where the Nikon D90 I want to order is $936. I called customer service but was told it was $1250. I asked why, the guy said it was $1250 for USA version but $938 for German version. What that means? A German version is in USA. They wanted me to pay $1250 for Nikon D90 that is only $1050 at Amazon.com. I canceled the order. More ridiculous is that I called another company Broasway.com, the same guy pick up the phone and pushed me to order---he did not know I dialed the phone number of different company. The two companies are same and are tricky. Do not waste money and time to deal with them.

Sold Grey Market Camera as a USA
THE WORST!!!
I called about a good deal on a Canon 40D and of course the one adverstised was a grey market camera. Meaning you would'nt get a USA warranty/or in reality, no warranty at all with this camera. I told the sales guy, Charlie, ext232 that I wanted a USA camera and he said they had them at an additional cost. I asked him if it would come in a factory sealed box and with a US warranty. I actually asked him about 4 times over and over to make sure becasue I had heard horror stories. He assured me it would and told me if I would buy it now he would give me free shipping. What a guy. I also ordered a 4 hour extended battery. When the package arrived today, it was in an open box. There was no warranty whatsoever and to top it off, he charged for a US camera and sent me a grey market camera. If that wasn't enough, the 4 hour 99 dollar battery was only a regular two hour battery. There were finger prints all over the LCD screen to. I think Wild is one of probably one of 20 or so company's that are all actually the same. I believe Broadway is another one. I really can't believe they are still in business after investigating them and finding so many complaints for them online. Absolutly the most dishonest scam company in the world. They actually preferr your debit card because you have less protection with that than a credit card.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS NO MATTER WHAT.
THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEFS.

Shady Business Practice AVOID
AVOID WILD DIGITAL - THEY ARE SHADY TO SAY THE LEAST. Below is an e-mail I sent to the company.
I would like to register a formal complaint of one of your employees. Robert @ extension 245 called my home on 8/12/08 at 9:41am to verify shipping information on an order that I placed online the evening before. I returned the call, less than five minutes later. During that 10 minute conversation of trying to sell me additional items for my unit, it became clear to me that the item I ordered was the wholesale version and not the retail version. After a heated discussion, he persuaded me to upgrade to the retail version for over $120 more.
Upon further investigation of Wild Digital’s website product description, and my general distaste & distrust of Robert’s salesmanship, I called back to cancel the order shortly after 10:00am. I was reconnected back to Robert (after being put on hold for a LONG time). He informs me that I will be charged a 25% cancellation fee because the order has already been “processed and approved”. I first asked, then demanded the order be cancelled with no charge and then asked to speak to a manager and Robert stated that he was the manager. I asked to speak with a different manager, and was told there were no other managers present. I reasoned that if he were the manager, he had the authority to cancel my order with no cancellation charge, since the order was placed less than 30 minutes prior. He rudely informed me “…I can, but I won’t! How ‘bout that?!” When I threatened to report him to the Better Business Bureau, he insulted me and replied “you can’t even pronounce the words” when I stumbled over them out of anger and frustration. When I requested again to be transferred to another manager, he disconnected me.
I made a third call, spoke with Jerry and was eventually connected with Todd who politely informed me that my order would be cancelled and there would be no cancellation fee. Although I was relieved and most grateful to Todd, the customer service I received from Robert was deplorable and unacceptable.
Beyond the fact that the details of what actually is being purchased on Wild Digital’s website is lost on a separate page in fine print, Robert’s behavior as a salesperson and “manager” was unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful. At the beginning he was probably following company policy to try to get customers to buy additional items on the spot, but when he lies, insults and then hangs up on a customer, that is WAY beyond bad business practice and poor customer service.
Below is bulleted list of what Robert told me and/or attempted to sell me. At this point, I can’t prove all facts from fiction, and I don’t doubt that some of what he said is true, but I want it on record any additional false statements he made.
• The wholesale version of the Garmin 880 does not come with internal storage so in order to save addresses; a micro SD card is required.
• The Garmin 880 uses a “special high speed” micro SD card, so the card I already own will not work.
• He can offer me a 128mb micro sd card at a discounted price of $69. (I researched: The Garmin website sells 512mb cards for $29.99 at a NON-discounted price)
• He can add 3-day expedited shipping for almost $50 extra. (I researched: $36.12 is quoted on the website).
• The over $10 difference between shipping quotes is because the micro sd card was added to the order.
• The wholsale version of Garmin 880comes with ’08 maps, and retail version comes preloaded with ’09 maps.
• The wholsale version of Garmin 880 comes with a lesser warranty.
• If I find a lower price on the web, Wild Digital would refund the difference (but after he “threw in” free 3-day shipping and a 3 year extended warranty, finding a lower price for the same identical package would be pretty impossible)
• Wild Digital charges a 25% order cancellation fee (even prior to shipping) because they have to pay staff to “package the merchandise”. (I researched: Wild Digital’s website does not state anything about an order cancellation fee for items that have not been shipped; but at most a 5% restocking fee if the order was shipped and delivery refused)
• My order placed at 10:00am was already processed, packaged and ready for shipment by 10:20am.
• Robert at extension 245 is a manager at Wild Digital.
