Ms Chanda Kapande, the tenant signed a lease of the house in Observatory, Cape Town, South Africa on the 1st April 2011 for the rental of R10000 pm. The second week of April she came to the property noticed a few things that were not to her liking and sent us an email to say that she was not happy and wanted those things sorted and since she wanted them done right away she would go ahead and get someone to do those things and would send us the Bill - please note that the repairs were not things such as a leaking tap or a broken geyser - it was a mattress that needed replacing, more alarm sensor as she did not feel safe and someone to clean the house. We informed her that if they were things she was not happy with it would be better for us to first before going ahead with the fixing. The tenant then said that she did not want to argue or talk about this and so she moved out. I've asked her to at least settle the April rent, she said she would pay but hasn't. I now want her to pay me one months rent, with two months notice to move (R30000). We turned down several promising tenants and because of her the house still stands empty. Are these the kind of business ethics Wind Prospect LTD, a European business is bringing to Africa! I will not stop until I get what belongs to us free and Fair!
