Another lottery scam. I received this today. What a crock! The e-mail message header shows the message originating from "JACKIE GIBBS" <[email protected]>; yet, look at the salutation - Mrs. Josephine Moore; and look in the body of the text where it requests that all my personal information be sent -- to a THIRD person - Mr. Morgan Wiltord E-mail: ( [email protected] ).

So, what's the deal?

Apparently, I am being congratulated on my having selected a Promo? which was held on the 18th? Oh brother. Never mind the fact that I don't live in the UK and don't enter drawings, lotteries, and such. I know the UK and the USA are separated by a common language; but, I still have to ask. How does one get selected FOR a promo? Is this like a draft? Does this now mean I am an indentured slave to their evil Promo?

Let's be thankful that criminals are complete morons with writing skills equivalent to troglodytes. Whoever falls for this load of tripe deserves to have their identity stolen. Here's the message that the below-referenced entity "We" had the audacity to send:
