Fraud and cheating!
Purchased (2) cell phones from them. had to wait 150 days before sending in current phone bill, upc code, and form that was filled out correctly. They e-mailed me and said it was (2) days early and that i would not get my refund of $40.00 as they promised when i purchased the phones... what a scam company...

Haven't received my rebate of $100 as promised
I purchased 2 phones that had $150 rebate. Its been a year since I bought it and there is no information about the rebate. Everytime I call them up they put me on hold for quite some time and say its under process and hat they have no information when one would get their checks. I rad a lot about these scams online.

Please help or advice smb!

Bad service, false promises
Boy this company sucks, they make false promises about when you are getting phone... seems like their favorite answer is within 24 hrs it'll be shipped... I waited almost 2 weeks before I got it. Constant calls and asking... I thought is was just me. My friend tried to get a phone from them... It's now been a week and they are still telling her... wait 24 hrs... seems like these guys have a different clock... I don't think they know that there is 24 hrs in a day. Well that's all I have to say.

Avoid Wirefly at all costs! It's a fraud!
I bought a slvr at wirefly, which I returned per return policy. I had included everything with it. However wirefly's warehouse decided that they were not going to refund my money and said the instruction manual was missing. Why would I need a SLVR manual when I bought a palm treo. Plus there is no way for me to prove that it was there.

The customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. It goes to India where the guys have no clue what I am talking about. They were supposed to put me through to a supervisor who made me wait over 45 minutes and never came to the phone. In short he waited till I hung up the phone. I highly recommend NOT buying from wirefly. They are the perfect example for internet scams and fraudulent practices.

Plus the rebates on the phones are messed up. Nobody at wirefly tells you that you get the rebate only when you sign on to the data plan. You notice it only when you get the product and you cannot return the product either, cos they do not refund you. The data plan costs more than the rebate they offer you. Avoid wirefly at all costs. Go to the store and buy it for peace of mind. It costs more but at least you do not feel violated.

Rebate program through Wirefly is scam!
A year ago I bought a Motorola cell phone through Wirefly.com. I sent the two rebate forms in on time and with the required documentation. On 15 May 06 I got a notice that the wireless bill was 'invalid.' When I called the Rebate Center on 25 May 06 at 1101 to ask what the problem was I was told again, that the bill was 'invalid.' The woman I talked to couldn't say what was wrong with the copy of the current bill directly from Verizon, but since I was such a good customer they would process the rebates right away. Months passed and in September I got another notice saying that the cell bill was invalid because it didn't have the cell number on it but I could send another copy of the cell bill with the cell number within 30 days from the notice. I made another copy of the most current cell bill, making sure the cell number was on it and sent it off.

Now it's the last day of November and I went to cellphonerebates.com to see where the heck my rebates are. I plugged in my Claim ID number and it comes up with no such number. The rebate program through Wirefly is just a scam and judging by the number of complaints against Wirefly on the Internet, Wirefly is deaf and has no interest in their company's reputation.

Scam! Overcharge!
I paid wirefly.com 500.00 for two cell phones with the understanding that I would recieve 500$ worth of rebates. I eventually did receive 250.00 worth of rebates for one of the phones and nothing for the other one. I tried contacting them to see what was going on with absolutely no success. Last week, I recieved a call from a collections agency! They were trying to collect ANOTHER 250$. I had no prior warning of this from either wirefly or from TMobile.

I called TMOBILE and they of course have nothing to do with this company and so can't or won't even make a complaint against them internally.

So, now I have to go figure out how to get the record off of my credit report and I'll be damned if I am going to pay $500 for a cell phone.

WIREFLY is a SCAM. I am sure that they will change their name and do business as someone else when people get the drift of what they are doing. Do not buy from these people.

Never get my $15 back!
I was looking for cell phones to buy because my contract was up in a month. I was looking on different website and found wirefly. The site said two Sony Ericsson phones for 69 dollars cant beat that. I went into the site and gave wirefly my address and phone number if I wanted it shipped in 2day it would cost me 15 dollars so I said yes. Well 2days later no phone, so I called wirefly up and asked why I did not receive my phones in the 2days they had promised. Wait you will like this one that wirefly told me they told me that I do not live at the address that I had put down. I have been living at the same address for last 35 years. I asked them were the company was based in the USA and wirefly told me NO!!!. I was surprised that a company not based in the USA told me a citizen of the USA that I did not live at the address that I gave wirefly. Boy that pissed me off the balls of this company has. I found my phones sitting at a UPS station. I call UPS to find out where station was located at and 1 ½ hours later I picked up my phones. I called back wirefly and asked if they would send me the 15 dollars and the said they would but 8months later not a word.

Beware!

S.C.A.M.
SCAM, i tells ya. I wish I found this info. before I placed my order. OH.MY.DOG. There is NO customer service. The links they gave in the original responce to my order do not work. Phone #s are a no go. I ordered Sprint phones and a Sprint plan, but when I called Sprint this morning to check on my account (after I read these warnings), they have no information on a plan, or any phones for me! What they did have was an application. Period. I called my bank and my account has already been charged. Oy vey. Thankfully wash. mutual can treat if as a FRAUDULENT transaction, since it is, but then I need to get a new card. If that's what it takes to fix this mess, I'm still luckier than other people.

Sorry folks. DO NOT BUY FROM WIREFLY!! DO NOT BUY FROM WIREFLY!! DO NOT BUY FROM WIREFLY!! DO NOT BUY FROM WIREFLY!!

Portland OR

P.S. the reason i ordered through them instead of sprint is because they had better phones and a better deal (so I stupidly thought).

Messed up the shipping
I recently purchased 2 phones from wirelfy.com. Apparently, the folks at wirefly.com messed up the shipping. They failed to tell FedEx they were shipping to a business. The phones shipped on a Thursday, and were supposed to arrive in 2 business days. However, problem is, FedEx's 'Home Delivery' service is closed on Mondays. First thing monday morning, both my wife's and my cell numbers get ported to our new phones which are in a box on a truck somewhere in limbo and won't be delivered until Tuesday.

So, on Tuesday, the phones get charged. On Wednesday, they will be ready to use once we arrive home. So, we're both without cell service for 3 days.

A call to Wirefly's customer service yielded the following:

1st attempt: 30 minutes spent online while an agent with a thick accent kept telling me 'the phones were sent 2-day shipping'. She tries to get FedEx on the phone in a 3-way call and unceremoniously disconnects me.

2nd attempt: Conference call succeeds: FedEx will tell driver to show up as early as possible Tuesday, Wirefly says 'have a nice day' and disconnects.

My attempt to squeeze them for $$ back for my inconvenience is failing. I'm probably going to have to cut my losses on 3 days no service, and just recommend that you NEVER order over the phone from these people. Entering the information in yourself online is probably a better bet... but when in doubt, avoid altogether, all online cell phone retailers linked to 'inphonic'.

Phone companies don't care that an unscrupulous company is representing them
I complied with all rebate requirements. The rebate form says that I will receive my rebate in 8 to 12 weeks. It took 8 to 12 weeks for Wirefly to respond with an email saying that my rebate was approved. The email said that it would be another 8 to 12 weeks before I would receive my rebate. Somehow, I doubt that is going to happen. What is frustrating is that the cell phone companies don't care that an unscrupulous company is representing them.

I suggest that everyone file a complaint with the FTC for false advertising, https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01. Their response to me was that they could not address an individual. However, they keep records, and if they get enough complaints, they will address the problems with the company.
