I've upgraded to a new phone at the end of my contract basically getting another phone online. That was in August 2009. Since then, I've had problems with the phone with regards to dropped calls, network issues and such. I went through the normal customer service channels every day with nobody able to help me through and things were basically getting worse. I opted for a warranty replacement upon which I was informed that there was no chance of me getting it as the device was relatively new. I waggled with them about it and did get my device replaced. The replacement device was even more worse than the first one. Incidentally while going through the same process as before, I lost my phone and since I already was paying for wireless insurance, ATT replaced my phone with a deductible of $50. The day I got my second replacement phone, it worked for a maximum of 2 hours which was shocking considering that it was a relatively new phone. Normal process did not respond to calls and I was left on hold for a long time and I sent an email to the executive customer support team which took considerable time to reply and while there was a response from the executive customer support. The person who sent out emails and responded to my complaint was really rude. It was so appalling and did not go down well with me. I already made it really clear that I was using a temporary phone which was useless and it drained the battery out while making calls. No response herewith since the past 4 days from anybody at ATT and also the replacement they had offered for three months of suffering call drops, network problems for no fault of mine was very inadequate and reflected very poorly on the company.
