Poor or no Service
I have been a loyal consumer with Walmart since 1996. In that time I have regularly shopped for all my needs in 3 states. In that time I never received the poor quality of service I have received then at the store located in Queensbury New York. In the times I have used this store I have witnessed total disregard by employees for consumers. I have been in there a number of times over the past year, and these are just a few examples. I went in looking for an electronics item and the electronics area was being waxed. The Item I wanted was roped off, I asked an employee if they could retrieve the item for me from the back. The employees response "Not my department" I asked" Could please page someone who could help me?" reply "No I'm on break." Went to Manager asked same question. response "Sorry photo lab spill can't go in electronics." Question " Can you look in the stock room.?" answer "If its not on the shelf its not there." I drove to the Saratoga Walmart 17 miles south asked the same questions different answers. I was also told that every store keeps at least 2 items of everything in the stock room. I go back to the Queensbury store the following day. Talk to Electronics manager "Well the floors were being waxed last night, and if you don't want the same problem don't come in tonight." was the response. Asked to speak to store manager, I was told to leave my number. I did no call back. Example 2 I am handicapped and have a hard time with mobility, went into Queensbury store 2 mobility in order of a total of 6 carts. Other Walmarts I shop up minim of 10 handicap shopping cart and at least 6 in working order. I ask the greeter if there were more carts her response "we have what you see." Question are you going to get more answer " We have what we have."again call the store ask to speak to manager no call back. Example 3 I am a larger person and I understand that retail stores don't always carry larger size clothing. Again I have always been able to get up to 4 x at Walmarts. I go in the store and the biggest size on the rack is extra large at the price for larger sizes. Talk to clerk answer "We don't carry sizes other then what is here, no Walmart does." I knew this was not true, because I was in Saratoga on business the day before and had bought a 4x item on sale. I asked to speak to manger asking the same question Her response "I'm sorry sir Walmart does not carry larger items we can request but our buyers have the final determination, and items above extra large ." I go in the sotre about a week water a number of items in 4x. Again I asked to speak to store manager and left my number no return call. Recently my wife went looking for a filter for our humidifier was told that the store didn't carry the item and she would have to order it on line. I went to order at Walmart .com and sure enough in big letters "IN STOCK" under the Queensbury store. I call the store and give them the filter number and upc code and what was not in stock now there were 2 in stock . I asked to speak to store manager and once I left my number with no response. These are only three of the countless examples that I can give of the Queensbury Walmart disregard for its consumers. I and I am sure countless will attest that would rather make a 40 to 50 mile trip to the Saratoga Walmart becuse the employees at that store trat their consumers as human beings and with respect.
