Do NOT buy from this store. Was sold a floor model, i knew it was a floor model, but it was glitchy after a few days and feared for thhe life of the camera. learned a lesson, duh, never buy floor models. Well, see, i've had problems in the past with getting refunds credited back to my card, so i decided to pay for the camera in cash. BIG MISTAKE. IF EVER U GO THERE ALWAYS PAY WITH A CARD. They will NOT refund u in cash. that is on the receipt, but wasn't aware of the policy, of course, until after purchase when i looked at receipt. anyhow, so i took it back 14 days ago. I was told it's against policy to refund me in cash because i paid in cash...
So, i fill out all paperwork to get refund by check. I was from the getgo very irritated to be refunded this way. I WAS TOLD IT WILL TAKE 10 DAYS TOTAL TO RECEIVE MY CHECK. first, let's just be real, that's a long time to begin with to have to wait for a refund. especially since i had to buy another camera (not from wolf!) to replace the one i had to take back. i STILL, after 14 days, have received nothing. The mail has already came today, so it is on day 15 now. I called the store, asking what was going on. the manager said he called corporate, left them a message, and would get back with me. i requested corporates number, which is a good thing, because after 4 hours, the manager never did call me back.
i call corporate myself. they knew who i was when i called. i was told it's "in the mail" and i would receive it today. now, of course, today's mail came and went, no refund!
I have both the original receipt and the return receipt. If i don't receive it by tomorrow (and they better not have "accidently" put the wrong address on the envelope, which will pretty much mean, i'm not getting my refund), i will call corporate one more time. If i'm told again that it's "in the mail" and should "get it today, tomorrow" whatever, and the days keep coming and going, i will take my evidence of return and file a formal complaint.
I feel i have been very patient with such a ridiculous return policy. I know that stores don't like to do refunds, but that is not a permission slip to take back the merchandise, and then refuse a refund. I will tell anyone, honestly, who is considering buying camera equipment, do NOT buy from wolf.
Go to radioshack.com. u'll see there that their hd video cards are $30 instead of $50, Their batteries are $20 instead of $50. Their camera prices are much better, and believe me, i know from experience, that if u return something there, they refund u right there, no weeks long waiting, a refund on the spot. if u pay in cash, u get it in cash. go to a radioshack store. I got a special edition of the camera on sale at wolf for the same price of $150. it's a xacti vpc-cg10 and it's an all red special edition. i got all my accessories, including a tripod, a large camera case for all my gear, and a camera kit online for $25 dollars (comes w tabletop tripod, lens cleaning brush, solution, microfiber cloth, card reader, cleaning tools, camera case). I DID have to bring back a video hd card i bought there because it turned out it had been opened and used. they apologized, and gave me my money back.
that's all u have to do. If wolf is hoping i will let over $100 go, they're mistaken. i have all the evidence of original purchase and return. I won't forget about this money because i am a college student, and already had to replace their camera elsewhere, i NEED the money. wolf camera does not need the money, plus it is MY money because they already accepted the camera back what is now 13 mailing days ago (mail doesnt run on sunday). im very upset, and im seriously doubting wolf has intentions to refund me. it's been 5 days past the maximum period i was supposed to receive my refund.
Be advised.

In the ad for Wolf Camera 9/6/08 the offer was "buy any digital camera over $100 and get a free printer". In this ad they had a Canon PowerShot A590 IS for $149.99. After either calling or visiting every Wolf store in my area I was told that they did not carry that camera and did not intend to get one in. This is pure bait & switch - I have to buy a more expensive camera to get the free printer within the 1 week offer. And they would not give me a rain-check for the camera or the printer.

I will never shop at Wolf Camera again.
