Hello,

I used to run a small software consultancy and have recently ceased trading. During the start-up of this comapny, I joined numerous free online directories in order to gain a web presence. I was sent in an unsolicited e-mail, an invitation to join the 'World Business Guide'. The registration form said 'UPDATES FREE OF CHARGE', so I sent off my registration without reading the fine print saying if I join, it is for a minimum of 3 years @ EUR990 per year.

I emailed back to ask to be de-registered but they declined my request. Now they say they have passed this matter to their credit department and want a further 330 Euros.

I feel cheated even though I know I should have read the fine print. But the way they are going about it I know is not in true commercial spirit, hence I am complaining. I attach the registration form and the soliciting email. (SORRY png or jpg would not attach)
