I FOUND THE WEBSITE BY GOOGLE ONLINE SEARCH ENGINE. I PURCHASED BRONZE STATUE ONLINE ON MAY 22, 2008. I HAD TO PAY IN FULL WITH THE ORDER TO THE TUNE OF $3795.00. THEY ADVERTISED THAT THE ITEM USUALLY SHIPS WITHIN 3 - 4 WEEKS AFTER THE ORDER IS RECEIVED.
ON JUNE 17, 2008 I EMAILED THE SALES DEPT AND ASKED ABOUT THE PROGRESS OF THE ORDER. SALES RESPONDED THAT THE STATUE WOULD BE READY THE WEEK OF JULY 7, 2008, AND ASKED IF THAT WAS OK. I REPLIED OK.
ON JULY 14, 2008 I EMAILED ASKING AGAIN ABOUT THE STATUS AND SALES RESPONDED THAT THEY WILL CHECK WITH THE FOUNDRY AND GET BACK TO ME ASAP.
ON JULY 18, 2008 THE SALES DEPT WROTE THAT THE SCULPTURE WILL ARRIVE THE WEEK OF AUGUST 11, 2008. I REPLIED OK.
ON AUGUST 13, I EMAILED SALES FOR AN UPDATE.
ON AUGUST 14, SALES REPLIED THAT THEY WOULD CHECK WITH THE SHIPPING DEPT AND GET BACK TO ME ASAP.
ON AUGUST 19, SALES EMAILED ME THAT THE STATUE WAS TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED TO MAKE. THE CRAFTSMEN PROMISED THAT IT WOULD BE READY SEPT. 5. WOULD I BE WILLING TO WAIT. I REPLIED THAT SAME DAY THAT IT HAD BEEN TOO LONG AND I WANTED A REFUND. SALES REPLIED "NO PROBLEM. THEY WILL LET THE FOUNDRY KNOW."
ON SEPT 3, I EMAILED TO FIND OUT WHEN THE PURCHASE AMOUNT WAS GOING TO REFUNDED. SALES REPLIED, THAT DAY, THEY HAD STARTED PROCESSING IT AND I SHOULD START SEEING IT SOON.
ON SEPT 4, SALES EMAILED ME THAT THE BILLING DEPT HAD STARTED THE CREDIT ON MY ORDER, I SHOULD START SEEING IT IN THE NEXT 3-4 DAYS.
ON SEPT 10, I RECEIVED A CREDIT OF $500.00.
ON SEPT 13 I EMAILED ASKING ABOUT THE REMAINDER OF THE AMOUNT.
ON SEPT 15 SALES EMAILED THAT I WILL START SEEING THE OTHER CREDITS THAT HAD BEEN PROCESSED.
ON SEPT 23 I RECEIVED A CREDIT ON MY CARD OF $295.25.
THERE WERE NO MORE CREDITS ISSUED AND NO RESPONSE TO MY EMAILS.
I FILED A REPORT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THEY HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY RESPONSE FROM THE BUSINESS EITHER.
