Worldwide RV sales Inc. Reviews

Scam Artists
I was scammed on E-Bay Motors. This item # 4618259223 was placed for sale on a buy it now or make an offer. Even though I have been an eBay buyer and seller for three years, I was not familiar with this process. I placed a best offer bid after talking to the owner - RV dealer by phone. On the phone he assured me the RV was well maintained and was in great condition, "RV RUNS GREAT AND SHIFTS EFFORTLESSLY FROM GEAR TO GEAR. NO ENGINE LEAKS, RUNS VERY QUIET AND HAS BEEN VERY WELL MAINTAINED. THIS COACH HAS BEEN SAFETY CHECKED AND DRIVEN OVER 100 MILES AND IS READY TO TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE US! I WOULD NOT HESTITATE TO GET IN THE COACH AND HEAD FOR CALIFORNIA TODAY. THIS COACH WAS SOLD TO US BY A 78 YEAR OLD GENTLEMAN WHO REALLY SERVICED AND MAINTAINED THIS COACH TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS. OIL WAS CHANGED EVERY 3000 MILES AND IT WAS SERVICED REGULARLY EVERY 6 MONTHS BY A CERTIFIED RV MECHANIC “.
On the morning of the 6th of March 2006 Mr. Casamento called me to say he had accepted my bid of $13, 300.00 and to wire transfer the $2500.00 deposit. At that time he stated he would show the offer as being accepted on eBay after he received the deposit. Having never bought a vehicle on eBay before using a “best offer " I just assumed that was the way it worked. Little did I know this was all part of his scam. What he did was canceled the auction, by-passing E-Bay and the buyers protection it provides. This is a professional con artist.
My wife and I flew to Florida the next day all excited to take delivery of our new RV. Mr. Casamento demanded cash only for the remaining amount due $10, 949.00. Although the RV was rougher inside than the pictures showed and had not been cleaned like he said his partner Kevin had "spent all day vacuuming and cleaning". Again he assured us mechanically the coach was in sound condition. We took delivery of the RV and drove away from his RV dealership. Immediately I noticed a swaying in the back end of the RV. Upon stopping and walking around the RV, I crawled underneath the RV and the inside duel tire on the driver’s side had a hole in it the size of my fist. Obviously having been blown out for some time. We went to a tire repair shop to have the spare tire put on. At the tire shop the manager looked at all the tires on the RV and said you need to replace all eight tires. He told us that on RV’s any tire that is over six years old will start to dry rot the side walls. In checking the DOT # on the tires he determined the tires were from 10 to 20 years old and were dry rotted. We could not afford the replace the tires so we started off on our 2000 miles headed home to Colorado. We went about 30 miles when we were overcome by exhaust and gas fumes. "NO ENGINE LEAKS, HAS NO LEAKS, NO ODORS NO SMOKING” was in the description. Then the second tire blew out. The right side tag axle. The RV could not be towed so a new tire was put on where it sat. After the tire was fixed the RV would not start so the tire repair man called his shop to send a certified mechanic. When the mechanic opened the engine dog house he immediately asked how many miles were on the RV. It was at this time we discovered the title we were given by Mr. Casamento said Actual Miles 57, 976 but in checking the odometer it showed less miles. The mechanic stated the engine appeared to have over 150, 000 miles on it. Meaning we had been lied to and scammed. The engine had not been serviced for 10’s of thousands of miles. Air cleaner clogged, spark plugs fouled. "THIS COACH IS POWERED BY THE LEGENDARY FORD 460 ENGINE WITH ONLY 57, 000 DOCUMENTED MILES AND IS CARBORATED, NOT FUEL INJECTED. RV RUNS GREAT AND SHIFTS EFFORTLESSLY FROM GEAR TO GEAR. OIL WAS CHANGED EVERY 3000 MILES AND IT WAS SERVICED REGULARLY EVERY 6 MONTHS BY A CERTIFIED RV MECHANIC"
All lies and all part of his scam. The fuel pump was out, the engine was running on 7 cylinders, the alternator was out. The only way we could go on was to replace the engine. $3500.00. We were left with no alternative but to leave the RV and come home to Colorado.
This man, his wife and partner are professional con artists. He laughs at us on reporting this scam to eBay, saying we bought it outside of eBay. I had no control over his canceling the auction instead of showing what really happened of his accepting my best offer bid. It is all part of his scam there-by avoiding an investigation. Please help us put this scam artist out of business and off eBay. This group is using eBay to find victims for their fraud business then bypassing eBay protection for the consumer.
